This week sees the Sun, Venus and Jupiter transiting the sign of Sagittarius, along with a New Moon that will kiss the Archer’s bow on Tuesday.
After a months-long retrograde that led us to reconsider the viability of our biggest dreams and aspirations, Jupiter, the planet of luck and fortune, stations direct in the sign of Sagittarius restoring momentum.
For months, Jupiter has been transiting the sign of Sagittarius, the sign it rules in Astrology. The energy of planet and sign are the same – Jupiter brings luck and expansion, while Sagittarius is the vessel from which Jupiter’s inspirational force emanates.
The planet Jupiter is retrograde now through August 2019, asking each of us to curb our enthusiasm when it comes to those areas of life where we seek to stretch and grow. Consider this a giant pause as momentum slows and strategies are revisited.
Notable shifts continue to develop in the cosmos. The Nodes are now on the Cancer/Capricorn axis, focusing our destined collective path toward more nurturing, and less obstructing. Jupiter has left the sign of Scorpio for Sagittarius, inspiring new motivations, and less burdening.
Venus stations direct in the signs of Libra and Scorpio this week, while Mercury stations retrograde in the truth-seeking sign of Sagittarius. Finally, Mars exits the sign of Aquarius where it has been for the last seven months, and will soon ingress Pisces. Ring the alarm - Jupiter leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius this week!
Jupiter transits last for about a year, and we have been feeling its movement through the sign of the Scorpion since last October. As I said in this blog post, Jupiter’s exit comes with the parting gift of rebirth. We have been laboring through the year folks, purging, shedding, releasing, and pruning, all for the sake of being born anew. |
