Gemini in 2023

A gradual build-up of energy begins right at the start of the year as the planet Mars stations direct in your sign on January 13, where it has been retrograde since October 2022.

All the planets in our solar system do what’s called, “retrograde,” with Mercury (your ruling planet in Astrology) being the planet that retrogrades most frequently throughout the calendar year. A retrograde planet gives the optical illusion of orbiting the almighty Sun backwards, which can be symbolized as a nudge from the Universe to pause and reroute where necessary, based on where the planet is affecting us in our natal charts.

Now, Mars in Astrology connects us to how we initiate our deepest passions. But while retrograde, assertive efforts feel blocked. Such blocks and thwarted motivation can be frustrating for us down below. So, as the Warrior planet gets back to its regular pace and orbit, you can anticipate that the affairs of life will amplify, a momentum that continues through the spring and summer seasons.

Personal goals, self-assertion, and increased confidence as it relates to independent pursuits will expand – a surge of energy will be underway. This is especially true as it relates to new commitments and contracts; Mercury will also station direct in the sign of Capricorn on January 19, where it has been retrograde since December 2022 bringing hiccups around certain agreements and investments.

In fact, intimate matters, financial planning, new agreements, and possible business ventures will be highlighted throughout the months of January and February. If you are merging in a new partnership or experiencing breakthroughs in a therapy setting that inspire self-improvement, the direct stations of Mercury and Mars may very well be connected.

This could inspire aspirational aims, too, if applying for a business loan, purchasing a ticket overseas, or receiving an advance for a book you’re ready to publish! Interestingly, by the time we enter the spring months, motivation around dreams in the making will undergo a major shift as two momentous cosmic events develop above: Saturn will ingress (enter) the sign of Pisces on March 8, and Pluto will ingress the sign of Aquarius on March 24.

Both these planetary shifts are set to bring important lessons to humanity below, especially in the way of social unrest, spiritual growth, and revolutionary coups. For you, Gemini, you can consider this is a time of restructuring as it relates to your sense of purpose, your personal beliefs and philosophies, and what brings you meaning and life fulfilment. What’s more, if pursuing an entrepreneurial endeavor or considering a different vocational path, existential questioning will lead to a new legacy and career trajectory that will require great focus and discipline.

The fact that this all coincides right before your birthday season is significant. Spring will be the time to direct your energy toward independent endeavors, and you will, no doubt, feel quite driven and determined as Mars continues to move in forward motion.

Opportunities during this first quarter or 2023 may beg the need for you to get clear on your overall direction in life. This will be amplified on April 20 when a solar eclipse peaks, inviting you to connect with new tribes and communities that further your efforts toward both personal and professional gains.

However, Mercury will station retrograde again the day after the eclipse on April 21, which means your involvement in new groups and affiliations may be delayed. This retrograde could see you going back-and-forth around personal change and life transitions. Low motivation, inner angst, and self-questioning may bring pause. It will feel like you’re taking two steps forward and two steps back as you consider your options. But these things will resolve when the Messenger planet stations direct on May 15, and most likely in your favor.

The lunar eclipse peaks on May 5, meanwhile, wrapping up activities in your day-to-day. An ongoing health matter, work project, or unending responsibilities will reach conclusion as the elements of your regular routines shift or come to a close. What culminates will inspire new beginnings as they relate to the solar eclipse, Gemini. You may be ending your role in an office setting to enter a new department or organization entirely. This could also be interpreted as lifestyle changes that allow for greater social engagements and contact building, and right in time for your birthday!

Of course, with Mercury retrograde, there will still be delays. But as Jupiter shifts into the sign of Taurus on May 17, you may feel a greater sense of trust and knowing when it comes to new chapter beginnings. A period of enlightenment will follow as certain insights and wisdom are downloaded, encouraging you to move forward in new directions.

A surge of energy continues as we reach the summer solstice in the meantime – this year will be fast and furious! Financial dealings, short trips and learning endeavors, as well as domestic matters feature.

That said, the close of July sees Venus stationing retrograde on the 23rd, bringing an education assessment or contract negotiation. An edited manuscript, possible relocation to a new city, or an administrative review around academic pursuits are just a few examples of how Venus – the planet that connects us to love, beauty, money, and personal aesthetics – will be of impact while retrograde.

This gets a little dicey as Mercury stations retrograde once more just a month later on August 24. At this point of the year, activities centering home and family feature. You may be considering a move to a new community, or negotiating settlement on a piece of property. These things will undergo delay courtesy of Venus and Mercury retrograde.

Such matters will resolve in September when Venus stations direct on the 4th and Mercury stations direct on the 16th. A property appraisal, for example, will be completed. Adjustments in a new university setting will conclude. What may feel like a suspenseful holding pattern will finally lift!

October sees two more eclipses, meanwhile. A solar event on the 14th brings a potential new love affair, creative venture, or even news of pregnancy! The lunar eclipse on the 28th brings awareness and possible anxieties for purging – a release of inner angst and/or fears that prepare you for new chapters surrounding the solar eclipse. FYI, these eclipses are connected to the spring pair of eclipses.

You may be working through childhood wounds as you rediscover what brings you joy, or moving past heartache as new love prepares to enter your life. What’s more, as we close out the year, the pace of life will expand with busy days and relationship matters. November through December sees energy increasing in close ties and connections, that may contribute to growing daily affairs.

That said, Mercury retrogrades one last time on December 13 instigating miscommunications in loving connections, partnership agreements, and intimate dealings.  But not to worry – these matters will resolve in the new year, Gemini. Aside from Mercury’s backspin, 2023 ends on a rather cheerful note!

Gemini in 2022

The year starts off on a choppy note for us all, and ends on a relatively significant note for you, dear Twins.

As we enter 2022, the planets Venus and Mercury retrograde bring all kinds of evaluations and assessments around certain commitments and agreements. This technically began toward the end of 2021 – contracts, salary negotiations, obligations to loved ones, marital ties, etc., may have been under review, then. The plot thickens in January when misunderstandings and missing documents impact a legal matter, separation, and your work.

Thankfully, yours is a multi-faceted sign that can multi-task and shift energy when necessary. This should be your approach in early 2022 as things go awry, especially if waiting for confirmation around an academic scholarship, or moving through settlement on a home purchase.

Once we reach the mid-way point of February, developing events will resolve and the new year can officially begin. But you may still be feeling a bit tired and out of sorts, Gemini; cosmic turning points in this first quarter will encourage you to connect to your Soul, and balance rest with daily movement.

It’s as if your north star in 2022 is leading you in the direction of retreat, inner growth, and reflection, and it would behoove you to go there despite the noise and chatter around you. This shift within may very well encourage vocational aims. You may feel the need to switch career paths and center work that brings you purpose and meaning. In fact, a theme in effect most of 2022 will insist that you double down and focus on your true path. Doing so would certainly lead to professional advancement; Jupiter traveling through Pisces ensures opportunities and success for your efforts.

By spring, life will become active as is the case with all living things during this time of year in the northern hemisphere. Networking, personal ambitions (especially during your birthday season), and other social engagements will keep your calendar full. But remember, rest must be a part of your equation, too. Radical solitude and self-inquiry will only enhance your lifestyle and day-to-day.

Eclipses in April and May further emphasize the importance of taking time for self. The solar event on April 30th will plant a seed in your subconscious that will lead to greater inner awareness, while the lunar event on May 16th brings something to completion – or fruition – with your regular affairs and lifestyle. An ongoing health matter may finally be diagnosed allowing for healing to begin, for example. Or you may be completing a major work assignment that frees up more time for retreat.

In between eclipses, however, will be another Mercury retrograde phase that brings confusion and uncertainty around lifestyle changes. That’s why self-inquiry will be so important – you can’t download new awareness if your mind stays active. Clarity will be restored by June if you can be intentional with getting off the grid for a bit. You may find, too, that personal goals and decisions can be reached once the messenger planet (your ruler in Astrology) stations direct.

The summer months look chill, meanwhile, especially as the planet Jupiter dips into the sign of Aries for a short stint. You can expect to see a lot of activity building around friendships, social causes, and alliances. Use this time to branch out build contacts. Doing so will bring both social and professional reward!

Money matters feature this summer, too, along with short trips, online endeavors, classroom trainings, increased communication, and home/family affairs. You will be entirely busy this season, and grateful for things to do! What’s more, the end of summer brings focus to creative projects, children, and even a little romance. You’ll be back in your element soon enough!

That said, fall sees another Mercury retrograde phase that may disrupt a new love affair, an artistic endeavor, or activities featuring children. This is especially true if you are moving in with a domestic partner, adding a new member to your family (furry or human!), or doing DIY projects around the house. There may be misunderstandings with a romantic partner, or challenges with children that won’t resolve until October, so be patient.

The final quarter of the year sees a surge of energy building once more, and it comes with another round of choppy cosmic events. Mercury will have stationed direct during the first week of October restoring order around domestic matters, family, and creative projects. But eclipses shake life up by month’s end, along with Mars retrograde in your sign, dear Gemini.

The solar event and lunar event on October 25th and November 8th, respectively, will remind you, again, to balance inner peace with the nuts and bolts of day-to-day living. As previously mentioned, these are major themes bringing messages to do less, go where your Soul takes you, and unlearn the ways of “hustle culture.”

New responsibilities at the close of the year will beg the need for intentional quiet time, Gemini. What’s more, as Mars barrels through your sign bringing personal drive and focus (an energy that technically builds starting around your birthday), you may find that you have many balls in the air that require your confidence, focus, and energy!

Once Mars stations retrogrades on October 31st, however, blocks to your efforts are likely. Mars connects us to our force of will; when the warrior planet does a backward spin, our energy is thwarted. Consider this an invitation, then, to re-strategize, redirect, and leave projects grounded for now. Movement will not return until January 2023.

This could feel anxious and “manic,” Twins. So, give yourself grace – it’s OK to drop a ball or two or keep things in suspension as needed. You are being encouraged to reassess the range and value of your energy, even if that comes with a little “bob and weave.”

The end of the year brings activities on the relationship front. In fact, you may find that you need to adjust your attention span a bit to be available for important others during the holidays. Do not think of this as a damper on personal initiation. In fact, consider this shift to be a helpful support in getting you back in alignment with the planets above.

We need others to further us along, so don’t forget your commitments to those you love. Let them be what inspires and motivates your energy at the start of 2023 – that year starts on a highly energized note!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, GEMINI!

Gemini in 2021

2020 saw many Geminis doing a whole lot of soul-searching. Not only were you undergoing important self-assessments to ascertain where you are, where you’ve been, and how much further there is to go. You have been considering you’re most cherished connections, too, with loved ones, family, romantic and/or business partners, close friends and anyone else you would consider a significant other.

Hopefully, you’ve gained a whole new awareness that is more truthful, even if brutally honest. Now that you’ve taken stock of things, you will be encouraged to stretch, grow and step outside of your comfort zone if life has become stagnant. This looks like dusting off those vision boards and aiming higher than you’ve ever aimed, Gemini. No more excuses; it’s time to set things in motion.

Whether starting in a new academic program, taking a sabbatical to travel far and wide, or immersing yourself in vocational aims, the sky is your only limit. Of course, you must manage expectations and ground your enthusiasm – you won’t find success overnight! But you will gradually reach important end goals should you start somewhere, and while delays in February may curtail your efforts, you will have enough cosmic support to overcome.

Technology may be the culprit if attending classes online or launching a communications platform during the winter months. This could also look travel delays courtesy of COVID-19 or application documents for a specialized program that go missing. Try not to get discouraged. Trust me when I say that the gods/goddesses have your back and are looking out for you. Minor glitches will be resolved by the spring.

The spring season will be relatively light compared to spring of 2020. As coronavirus cases gradually decline with a new vaccine, there will be less restrictions on social engagements, which means you’ll get to spend some time with friends and align with your chosen tribe. You may feel the need to rest more, too, which is just fine and even appropriate as eclipses late spring fall along the Sagittarius/Gemini axis – better rest up!

A lunar eclipse on May 26th paired with a solar eclipse on June 10th in your sign brings attention to close ties and significant others. You may be navigating an important balance between the responsibilities you have toward loved ones and personal ambitions.

A theme in effect all year will encourage more inner awareness and spiritual enlightenment for the purpose of conscious decision making, and the solar eclipse will bring a new chapter that centers self-actualization and independent aims. There may be a few hiccups throughout the month of June, however. You must be careful not to neglect your relationships as you consider a more personal agenda, and, you must be mindful not to allow expectations from others get in the way of doing what’s best for you. This will feel conflicting at times, but all will resolve by July.

Summer is light like spring as we barrel into the fall months. You will be focused on money matters, increased engagement with others as well as home and family matters throughout most of the season. In fact, late summer sees you indulging more pleasure, fun and child’s play. Life has been so serious in recent years, Gemini. Part of the reason why you’ve been engrossed in so much self-reflection has been to identify ways to experience more joy and authentic living.

September brings such opportunities in the form or romance, child’s play and creative aims. But there may be another round of hiccups that block total bliss by the end of the month entering October. You may be questioning a love affair or navigating fertility if family planning. Trust an unfolding process, dear Twins. All will shift forward with momentum by November.

The end of year period, meanwhile, brings an important breakthrough. Eclipses on November 19th and December 4th see you releasing pent up fears, doubts and insecurities that lurk behind the scenes in preparation for new relationship beginnings. It’s as if you’re clearing out all the psychic muck in order to open up to intimate dealings and connections.

FYI, mid-December may encourage you to more seriously consider a loving and emotional commitment. You may not know where things land until February of 2022; this could look like wedding planning or domestic merging. No matter how things unfold, you’ll be focused on more of what you value in the new year.

Dreams for your future, personal growth and development, and relationship connections fill your year ahead, Gemini, and by next year, career matters will expand as a result of your efforts. Just when you thought you had learned everything you needed to know about living a life of purpose, new wisdom, truth and knowledge are revealed– use it to your benefit.

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2020

1/1/2020

If you have learned anything in recent years, Gemini, it is the importance of committing to something, be it a relationship, a goal, or a commitment to self-growth and improvement.

Your dynamic pace makes it hard for you to sit still. That’s why you are often referred to as the “jack of all trade, master of none” – you’re too busy learning and absorbing and knowing that rarely do you commit to developing an expertise.

After much discipline and concentrated focus, you can now call yourself an expert and authority on something. In fact, because of your work and effort, you will begin to see the fruits of your labor in 2020 courtesy of a solar eclipse that peaked on December 26th, 2019. This cosmic event will bring a new start that will require a long-term investment, and you’re prepared to go the distance.

The lunar eclipse that follows on January 10th sees you using your resources to support a new merger. Whether you are investing your own money in an entrepreneurial venture or selling property to move in with a romantic partner, a valued possession will be given up; oh yea, you’re in it for the long haul!

You mean business, Gemini, and you can trust that your investments will bring reward. So try not to get discouraged if there are delays in late winter. A new work agreement may undergo another round of negotiations, or the terms of a business partnership may need to be further discussed. These matters will resolve by spring. Be patient.

The spring months, meanwhile, see you networking and connecting with others. Whether for social or professional gains, you will be aligning yourself in new settings to support new commitments. As an Air sign, you thoroughly enjoy connecting with others. So use this energy wisely and be intentional with the company that you keep.

As you link up with new associates, you may absorb quite a bit of information that brings your mind to capacity; you’ll need a mental break, in other words. So take it. A theme in effect all year begs the need for greater solitude and contemplation as you move through changes in life.

Once you come out of this low energy cycle, you’ll be operating on all cylinders in time for your birthday! However, while you will feel more motivated to pursue personal plans, you will also encounter an extended review of your plans before you can forge ahead.

The months of May and June bring an assessment of personal goals and agendas. Whether you are making vanity changes, launching a project with your personal brand, or assessing self-growth and improvement, a lengthy review is in effect that will force you to pause your plans temporarily.

Eclipses during the summer will add to an extended review, and we’ve got three eclipses instead of the standard two. Two lunar eclipses on June 5th and July 5th bring completions in an important partnership. Something is shifting as you consider personal plans and ambitions – a union may dissolve, or a contract comes to an end.

The solar eclipse nestled in between the lunar eclipses will be a potent event that hits right at summer solstice on June 21st. A new start on the money front will be ushered in as a result. The end of a business agreement could mean greater compensation for you personally. Another interpretation could involve you moving out of a shared domestic arrangement to invest in solo living.

As this energy unfolds, however, an assessment of personal aims continues, and you will also come up against some back and forth on the money front. If dividing assets, there may be miscommunications. If settling an inheritance, there may be a few delays.

This whirlwind of energy will resolve by the time we reach July into August. A personal review will have been confirmed while financial agreements are completed. You get a brief reprieve throughout the remainder of summer as another round of tumultuous cosmic weather develops in the fall. Use this time to regroup.

September brings grave delays that will impact everyone. For you, dear Gemini, this will be felt in the area of networking and social engagement. What was percolating here during the spring months may be revisited during the fall months. Your involvement in a new group or association may be blocked. This could also be experienced as tension amongst friends. The planning of social programs may also undergo severe setbacks at this time.

October could further complicate things as delays around creative ventures, romantic prospects and with children develop. If you are seeking outside support for an artistic launch, you may find that your networks are unable to assist. If a friendship becomes romantic, there may be some adjustments. If you are trying to enroll your child in an academic institution, there may be a change in plans.

Big obstacles that started in September will amplify in October. Your only options will be to either lean back and wait for a storm to pass or find a working solution in the interim.

November brings a lift; forward momentum will gradually build around networking while misunderstandings involving creative aims (or with romantic partners) are resolved. Steady progress will be made now through the end of the year as we enter another eclipse season.

November 30th brings a lunar eclipse in your sign, Gemini, seeing something of personal value reach conclusion. You may be completing an important chapter on self-growth and development, or giving something up to support another. In fact, December 14th brings a new beginning on the relationship front, courtesy of a solar eclipse. What ends at the lunar eclipse will be linked to the personal assessment back in May and June, preparing you for a new start with an important other.

The year ahead sees you taking stock of where you want to invest your time, love and energy. Remember, you’re in it for the long haul, whether investing in yourself or a committed partnership. In fact, you may find that investments made now lead to purposeful living as you embark upon a journey that sees you expanding your life in 2021! So be intentional with each and every commitment.

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2019

Not only will relationships undergo expansion as Jupiter transits your relationship sign (Sagittarius), but so too will your commitments – be they relational, financial, or business oriented. In fact, the new year begins with a set of eclipses that will further increase responsibilities in important investments.

The solar eclipse on January 5th brings a new commitment or contract. The lunar eclipse two weeks later on January 21st sees a completion of activity around contractual negotiations. An easy interpretation of how activity unfolds could be that you finalize the terms of new agreement – one that will come with a lot of weight and responsibility. Another interpretation could be the completion of a training or license that allows you to negotiate a higher salary and earning potential within a new company.

Eclipses always initiate chapter beginnings, and this story will continue to play out through the spring as pressure around new agreements builds. In fact, if you are seeking a higher paying position, cosmic support will be on tap. However, keep in mind that March will bring delays – cancelled interviews, missing resume documents, along with stalled talks around compensation could prove challenging. Try not to be discouraged if you come up against obstacles. All will resolve by April.

The rest of spring sees you entering a more contemplative space, as you shift your attention to activities unfolding behind the scenes. Sharpened insights and greater self-awareness are themes that took effect in the spring of 2018. Knowing when to trust your own wisdom will be a challenge as you learn to silence the fear-based noise and chatter that fills your head and brings anxiety. Try to find tools and resources that influence inner peace and serenity. Doing so will make it easier for you to listen to your inner wisdom.

As we reach the summer months, two more eclipses bring new chapter beginnings. The solar eclipse on July 2nd sees a fresh start around money and finances. Meanwhile, the lunar eclipse on July 21st will end certain agreements. If you have been involved in a lawsuit, you may win your case and the return of money or possessions owed. If you are applying for a mortgage, you may get what you need to invest in a property purchase. With that said, another round of obstacles will surface mid-July through August. Financial misunderstandings are highlighted; avoid making big money decisions.

September will see money matters resolve, as activity picks up around learning, short trips, home and family. You will be right in your element, Gemini. New stimulus and interactions will broaden your knowledge and lessen anxiety around commitments. Of course, overstimulation is a thing with you Twins. Try not to go overboard as you begin to absorb information.

The fall months will be busy, which is just how you like it. However, schedule disruptions are likely in November, along with a health scare that could derail your plans. This is nothing to be too concerned with, Gemini, but heads up. Try to avoid major medical procedures in November, consider second opinions, and be flexible as you undergo scheduling snafus. All will resolve by December.

The year ends on a cosmic note as another solar eclipse peaks on December 26th – a parting gift. This Christmas event coincides with the transit of Jupiter through Capricorn, further expanding the theme around commitments. Relationships still take front as they have throughout the entire year. Only now, you can deepen your attachments with ease. There is a reason why you are so adaptable. Be sure to extend that same flexibility to important others.

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2018

You have been learning important relationship lessons over the past few years. Significant endings may have occurred, along with significant new beginnings. As a sign that tends to be noncommittal in life in general, to say “I do” to anything is a big deal! The next few years beg the need for you to get new commitments on solid ground. Mergers in love or for money come with added weight.

The year begins with a taste of what commitments are in store, especially in partnership with others. You and a spouse may be purchasing property, or, you might take out a loan for a business venture. There is a heavy tone around investments, so be warned; this could even involve walking away from something/someone if the ROI is minimal. Eclipses in February will lighten the atmosphere, and if you play your cards right, you can embark on a journey that expands your life in ways you never would have imagined. You may have to leave the comfort of what you know behind, so that you can expand. But travel overseas, publishing and higher learning bring new chapter beginnings.

By the time we reach spring, you will be interfacing with new contacts if you find yourself in a new learning institution or work environment. Networking is highlighted as you branch out to make new acquaintances. There may be some back and forth in this area starting mid-March to mid-April; Mercury retrograde could stall plans around a conference event, informational interview, or social outings with friends. Leave big decisions regarding your involvement with a new group or company to the end of April. Missed connections can be found again.

The month of May, meanwhile, brings a shake-up of sorts, when Uranus, the planet of shock and revolution, enters the sign of Taurus. For you Twins, this planetary shift may very well ignite your own personal revolution. Sharper insights and awareness of your inner workings will be revealed. You may be compelled to take a few risks that may change the trajectory of your life, and this influence will remove whatever subconscious blocks or insecurities get in the way.

As we enter summer, three eclipses will conjure up some rocky cosmic weather. For you specifically, this involves a hard-won opportunity in a new setting or educational environment. The growth and expansion you have experienced since February must now be applied, Gemini. No more “jack of all trades;” you must become the expert of something.

New beginnings in academia, teaching, writing, and all things communicative are highlighted – activities that you genuinely enjoy. Such endeavors could even raise your income! But you must leave something behind, something that has helped you to broaden and experience greater purpose – to settle into this new chapter. There may be some back and forth on what that settling entails, so bide your time. The end of summer sees things moving forward on all fronts. This is also true if you end up relocating to a new community.

The fall months are relatively calm compared to summer. But there is cosmic activity afoot, nonetheless, affecting you in your day-to-day. Health and wellness are highlighted, which has been a feature in your life since the end of 2017. A review is in order, whether you are revisiting a medical issue, redoing a work project, or removing certain responsibilities from your task list. How you manage your schedule and well-being will be of the utmost importance.

The end of the year brings a lucky influence on the relationship front. Reunions and declarations of love are likely; another chance to say “I do” may be the best holiday gift ever!

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2017

1/1/2017

2016 has seen you do quite a bit of “adulting” with regards to certain commitments, contractual agreements, and financial planning. You have become more serious and conclusive with your affairs, often foregoing an innate desire to explore and identify different options. This is so unlike you, dear Gemini, but an important phase of your development, nonetheless. 2017 sees much of the same, only this time with sharper insights that allow you to make right decisions without feeling as if you have been backed into a corner.

The year begins with fluctuations in important mergers and joint ventures. Whether you are negotiating a salary, investing in property, or saying “I do,” you may experience a few false starts and delays. None of this is good or bad, it just is, Gemini. Bide your time if you can until the beginning of February – you will see progress by then, if not before.

February, meanwhile, offers two eclipses that will allow you to shift focus. Education, learning, and other training programs will reach completion, ushering in a new start on the career front. In fact, you may be relocating to a new community for professional reasons. It is equally possible that a stint in academia leads to public recognition. Whatever unfolds will have lasting effects; eclipses in August will also increase activity around education, learning, and communicative ventures (writing, public speaking, etc.). As the Zodiac’s jack of all trades, you pride yourself on having many different skills and talents. This year will encourage you to invest in at least one, and commit to it with passion and determination.

The spring months look to be equally buzzed, with both Venus and Mercury retrograde. You may be undergoing a review at this time, especially if you are seeking membership on a board or in an important association, or simply wanting to fit in with a new group of friends and colleagues. Networking is highlighted, and you will encounter people and support systems that could further you along both personally and professionally. Chance meetings are possible, but you may find that your ability to connect and maintain contact with folks is blocked. Be mindful of how you present yourself, Gemini, and don’t be too quick to dismiss a vendor or an affiliate that could be of service to you if they go MIA for a while. Activities will move forward by the time your birthday month comes around!

Fall brings another shift that increases activity in your daily life. You may be taking on more tasks and responsibilities due to a work project or a promotion. It also possible that a new child, or a greater emphasis on health and wellness, expands your day-to-day. You will most likely enjoy the new tasks on your plate, especially if it keeps you on the go and stimulated. Just try not to stretch yourself too thin, otherwise your “Twin” self may take over!

The end of the year marks an important turning point that sees you focused on those commitments that started the year. More “adulting” is on the way, Gemini, and it suits you well. People will begin to take you more seriously when you begin to take your investments more seriously. There is no reason why you couldn’t become a master of your trade by the end of 2017.

Gemini in 2016

1/3/2016

2016 brings more settling, Gemini. This means sticking to plans, committing to relationships, and working hard on the career front. No more waffling. No more scattered energy (at least, not too much!), and no more wasted time, dear Twins. The Universe is demanding that you make a few firm decisions for your life; otherwise, the Universe will have to make them on your behalf. Which way do you prefer?

The year begins with big question marks surrounding an important merger or contractual agreement. A significant other might be at the center of such activity. Although, it is equally possible that a business venture is being discussed. Your return on an important financial investment may be unclear. If this is the case, wait until February before making any major decisions, or signing on the dotted line. Uncertainty surrounding a partnership will come back into focus a few months from now; all the more reason for you to bide your time, especially if you will be taking out loans to support a new joint venture.

Meanwhile, eclipses in March will put the emphasis on career and vocation. Many Geminis may complete a creative project that turns into a lucrative profession. Give things time to unfold, and make sure you stick with your plans at least through September. Even if activity slows, that will be no excuse to put the kabbash on a great idea that could bring public success and recognition.

April through June will see your attention shift toward relationships. There will be a lot of activity playing out with significant others – either business in nature or romantic – and you will experience some level of tension as a result, especially in May. In fact, May, the time of your birthday, will be the most difficult month of 2016, so try not to make any major decisions surrounding your investment in an important partnership. I don’t just mean financial investments; I am also referring to emotional investments. The month of May will also bring a lot of self-questioning and confusion, especially with regards to mergers and commitments. If you are experiencing doubts, try not to ignore your intuition. Career activity, along with activity on the home front, will keep you busy too. You will have a lot of responsibilities to properly juggle in these two areas; otherwise, relationships will suffer. June brings a turning point, and the pace of life will pick up by July. Until then, take your cue to lean back when necessary.

Domestic matters will continue to bring expansion into the fall, and relocation is possible toward the end of the year, courtesy of a new set of eclipses (a job change could lead to a move). FYI, there may be information unavailable in September, so hold off until October before packing your bags! At this time, a new trend will begin that sees more romance, fun, and recreation enter your life. This is fertile energy that increases your creative output and focus on children (your own, or others). A year ahead filled with speculative ventures in 2017 is what is up next!

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2015

Gemini is the ultimate escape artist. As a mutable energy, it can be difficult to pin you down, especially on a particular thought, idea or belief. This is mainly because of your need and appreciation for variety in life. On a core level you enjoy soaking up everything in the way of information and knowledge, which explains why you just can’t stick with one thing or another; this holds true in your relationships too. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not accusing you of being noncommittal. What I am saying, however, is that you’ve often got one foot out the door just in case. 2015 will see to it that you either stay, or you go. A new business partnership or romantic relationship is very possible, but only the committed kind.

Up to now, you have enjoyed some level of freedom to make new connections and link up with like-minded folks who support you and your plans for the future. These goals also involve your vocation; despite uncertainty surrounding career matters, a Solar Eclipse on March 20th could bring a fresh start for you, professionally speaking. What’s more, you will be inclined to expand upon your ambitions, seeking new opportunities and exploring your options. Just be mindful of how external pursuits get in the way of intimate affairs. Contributing factors may also stem around a growing desire to go back to school, which gives you yet another excuse to keep things light on the relationship front (January and February are prime time to enroll, but expect delays). Of course, it would be appropriate to manage your priorities. But you may find yourself feeling alone in the coming months if you neglect matters of the heart.

Hopefully, you’ve been able to avoid spreading yourself too thin with tasks and other responsibilities. The things that have fallen on your plate over the past couple of years required your immediate attention, which in turn has ensured that you practice better time management while creating a healthier lifestyle. This same dedication will be necessary should you decide to bring a partnership to the next level. A Lunar Eclipse in April could help seal the deal, while May through June sees you second-guessing yourself. Balance, of course, will be key.

The end of summer/beginning of fall will also bring increased activity in romance and with artistic endeavors. Fertile energy will be available, whether you’re looking to give birth to a brain child or a physical one. Keep in mind that you may see some delays in September. October would be the best time to invest in any creative projects.

It will be the latter months of 2015 that kick off a theme of home expansion and family planning – how timely! Some of you may decide to purchase a new home, while others will bring home a new addition to the family. Overall, if you are willing to spend more time strengthening ties with loved ones and nurturing your inner sanctuary, you may find this end of year period to be quite pleasing and emotionally fulfilling.

Happy New Year, Gemini!

Gemini in 2014

1/1/2014

This year will be one in which you find yourself, Gemini. You’ll discover what brings you joy, how you can be more creative, and what makes you genuinely authentic. Romantic partners may very well paint a rosy picture, and recreational pursuits are favored. But at the end of the day, tapping into your inner child will be required, which means taking the time to nurture the ways in which you are unique and separate from the rest of the world.

How to make your personal mark will be something you ponder at various junctures over the next 12 months. Embarking on a pet project could be one avenue of exploration, while deciding to start a family could be another. While yours may be a sign that prefersintellectual engagement, a curious intellect won’t satiate a growing desire for profound meaning and connection, especially when it comes to intimacy with others (a theme that will be more poignantly highlighted during the first few months of the year). These things coincide with changes surrounding the different groups and associations with which you are currently aligned. Whether or not they cater to this new and wondrous you is a question that will continue to pop up, as you seek those of like-mind who can help you along this journey of self discovery. You may feel the need to sever a few ties if you find an association is no longer worthy of your time and investment. In fact, who andwhat you value will be the primary reasons why certain networks fall by the wayside.

You’re on a mission towards self fulfillment, so anything casual no longer holds interest. Even material wealth loses its appeal, although you still stand to accumulate more of it in the first half of the New Year. Actually, how you manage a life of comfort and security is reflective of how you manage your daily affairs. Are you doing too much? Do your current routines and habits suit your lifestyle (or the one you’re trying to create)? Have you over committed to certain members of your tribe (a trend to watch for in the second half of the year)? How you juggle it all is something that needs to be seriously considered; a firmer grasp of your responsibilities in a way that enhances your general well being not diminishes it, is ultimately the lesson to be learned.

If you’re honest with yourself, you’d have to admit that you’ve never really thought about life in the context of what it means to you, but instead, what you can learn from it. While both perspectives go hand and hand, your default has always been to absorb new knowledge and pieces of information. Unfortunately, what you know and retain doesn’t matter much if you’re not actively applying it to your personal reality. So you can be certain that 2014 will be a transitional year where you begin to create a life of purpose in a manner that benefits who you are on a core level. The version of you that fails to go beneath the surface where there’s depth and sustenance will no longer do. We’re all waiting on the edge of our seats to see the real you.

Happy New Year, Gemini!
