Taurus in 2023

1/1/2023

A gradual build-up of energy begins right at the start of the year as the planet Mars stations direct in the sign of Gemini on January 13, where it has been retrograde since October 2022.

All the planets in our solar system do what’s called, “retrograde,” with Mercury being the planet that retrogrades most frequently throughout the calendar year. A retrograde planet gives the optical illusion of orbiting the almighty Sun backwards, which can be symbolized as a nudge from the Universe to pause and reroute where necessary, based on where the planet is affecting us in our natal charts.

Now, Mars in Astrology connects us to how we initiate our deepest passions. But while retrograde, assertive efforts feel blocked. Such blocks and thwarted motivation can be frustrating for us down below. So, as the Warrior planet gets back to its regular pace and orbit, you can anticipate that the affairs of life will amplify, a momentum that continues through the spring and summer seasons.

Money matters, possessions and property, financial investments, and self-esteem/self-worth will soon intensify as Mars gains traction. You may be finalizing a salary negotiation or working up the courage to advocate for yourself when it comes to the give-and-take in important relationships. This is especially true as it relates to travel, academic pursuits, and activities that further vocational aims that may have been delayed due to financial constraints; Mercury will also station direct in the sign of Capricorn on January 19, where it has been retrograde since December 2022 bringing hiccups around aspirational goals.

In fact, journeys afar, international endeavors, and broaden pursuits that expand your sense of purpose will be highlighted throughout the months of January and February. If you are applying for student loans or taking a sabbatical abroad, the direct stations of Mercury and Mars may very well be connected.

This could inspire career matters, too, Taurus, especially if sitting for an important exam that leads to professional advancement or being selected for a prestigious work opportunity overseas. Interestingly, by the time we enter the spring months, momentum on the career front will undergo a major shift as two momentous cosmic events develop above: Saturn will ingress (enter) the sign of Pisces on March 8, and Pluto will ingress the sign of Aquarius on March 24.

Both these planetary shifts are set to bring important lessons to humanity below, especially in the way of social unrest, spiritual growth, and revolutionary coups. For you, Taurus, you can consider this a time of restructuring as it relates to your legacy and vocational path, especially having spent the past two years working hard, developing your expertise, and claiming some level of authority as it relates to your chosen career field.

What’s more, if entering a new department at work via promotion, or building a client base after launching your own business, the pressure will be on to branch out, connect, and solidify new contacts that serve career aims, leaving behind associations (personal and professional) that hold you back.

The fact that this all coincides around your birthday season is significant. Spring will be a time to direct your energy toward entrepreneurial endeavors, and you will, no doubt, feel quite driven and determined, especially with the potential for financial gains and reward as Mars continues to move in forward motion.

New opportunities during this first quarter or 2023 may beg the need for you to get clear on your overall direction in life. This will be amplified on April 20 when a solar eclipse peaks, planting seeds and intentions that will blossom in to personal change and transitions throughout the year. A period of restlessness will soon follow as you embark upon a new season of life.

However, Mercury will station retrograde again the day after the eclipse on April 21, which means new chapter beginnings may be delayed. And FYI, this retrograde is happening in your sign, dear Bull, which may see you going back and forth around personal decisions, career opportunities, and levels of confidence.

It will feel like you’re taking two steps forward and two steps back as you enter dialogue with self (and others) before formulating certain conclusions. But these things will resolve when the Messenger planet stations direct on May 15, and most likely in your favor.

The lunar eclipse peaks on May 5, meanwhile, wrapping up ongoing activities in important partnerships. Whether dissolving a union or finalizing an agreement with significant others, something will conclude, clearing the way for momentum around personal decisions under consideration since the solar eclipse.

Of course, with Mercury retrograde, there will still be delays. But as Jupiter shifts into your sign on May 17, you may grow a pair of wings and soar to new heights! Jupiter expands whatever it touches; consider this a personal chapter that sees you more self-focused and assertive of independent aims. The seed that was planted back in April is beginning to bear fruit as we enter the summer season.

A surge of energy continues reaching the summer solstice – this year will be fast and furious! Short trips, learning endeavors, and other educational pursuits come into focus as domestic matters, activities centering youth and child’s play, and even romance increase with momentum.

That said, the close of July sees Venus – your ruling planet in Astrology – stationing retrograde on the 23rd, bringing an assessment around home and family matters. A property settlement, home renovation project, or care for an elderly relative are just a few examples of how Venus – the planet that connects us to love, beauty, money, and personal aesthetics – will be of impact while retrograde.

This gets a little dicey as Mercury stations retrograde once more just a month later on August 24. At this point of the year, children, love affairs and creative projects feature. There may be domestic changes with a child off to college. You may be merging in a domestic partnership, or doing creative projects around the house – these things will undergo delay courtesy of Venus and Mercury retrograde.

Such matters will resolve in September when Venus stations direct on the 4th and Mercury stations direct on the 16th. A home/family assessment will be completed. Activities involving children and/or a love affair return to normal. What may feel like a suspenseful holding pattern will finally lift!

October sees two more eclipses, meanwhile. A solar event on the 14th brings new routines and responsibilities, and a lunar eclipse in your sign on the 28th brings a personal chapter ending. FYI, these eclipses are connected to the spring pair of eclipses. You may be completing a cycle of self-growth and development that leads to lifestyle changes, or focused on a new work opportunity that brings a bit of “self-sacrifice.”

As we close out the year, the pace of life will expand with busy days and eventually energy surrounding significant others will increase (close friends, spouse, business colleagues, family, etc.), adding to growing daily affairs.

November through December sees intimate dealings coming into focus, meanwhile. You may be contemplating a new business partnership, merging in a romantic tie that failed to launch during the summer, or signing a new contract agreement centering aspirational aims.

That said, Mercury retrogrades one last time on December 13 instigating some back-and-forth discussions around contract negotiations or even property settlements!  But not to worry – these matters will resolve in the new year. Aside from Mercury’s backward spin, Taurus, your year ends on a rather solid note!

Taurus in 2022

This is your year, Taurus. This is the year when everything begins to shift in your favor after so many other years of consistent effort, commitment, dedication, and hard work in the face of adversity.

You’re still being called to step outside of your comfort zone and pursue what brings you meaning and purpose in life. A growing restlessness over the years has seen you rebelling against life as you know it to gain greater personal autonomy and live life as you see fit.

The start of the year sees you immersed in a deep internal dive to get to the root of what passions get you out of bed in the morning, and what stands in the way of you more proactively following those passions. If you’ve been wanting to go back to school, travel the world, undergo a specialized vocational training, or indulge new curiosities, there may be a few considerations (and evaluations) of steps taken to further your efforts.

Circumstances beyond your control may be what brings obstacles. Journeys abroad, for example, could be disrupted by COVID-19 restrictions. A dissertation or manuscript scheduled for publishing may need extensive edits, or a professional license program that could lead to career advancement may be deferred.

Then, there is your mindset overall, Taurus. What you believe is possible and how willing you are to take a leap of faith may be impediments to dreams fulfilled, too. As you unpack what’s stopping you, new insights are set to be revealed.

These assessments and delays may feel more urgent the first few weeks of the year, especially if connected to your work and profession. Misunderstandings and setbacks around your efforts to soar are likely. But themes in effect all year demand a concentrated discipline and focus on your legacy and vocation, anyway. Be patient as developments unfold; nothing will resolve until February.

In fact, I’ve been saying that February marks the real start to 2022. This is when that clean slate we all look forward to will feel fresh and ripe for new beginnings. What’s more, dear Taurus, is that this truly is your year. Cosmic events favor you. The only thing you need to do, then, is follow your north star. This will require courage. You can trust that you won’t be led astray.

The influence of the planet Jupiter may connect you with people who support your efforts the first half of the year; friends, new contacts, professional affiliates, and other organizations may become your best allies. Expect to align with right tribe and community – like minds and shared causes – that further you along a destined path!

Once we reach the spring season, the pace of life will pick up significantly. This time of year always sees you motivated and energized, and with eclipses forthcoming during your birthday season, you will step even further into your A-game.

A solar event on April 30th falls in your sign ushering in a personal new chapter. A lunar event on May 16th, meanwhile, brings conclusions in important relationships; you may be ending a chapter in order to focus on your own growth.

In between these eclipses, however, Mercury will retrograde bringing all kinds of confusion, setbacks, and uncertainties as they pertain to what and who is of value to you. You may have to make a few tough decisions. But remember, the Universe is conspiring on your behalf all year long.

The summer months should feel lighter once Mercury stations direct in June and eclipse season reaches conclusion. Energy from the two lunations will linger, but at least you will have found clarity and know exactly where you stand. In fact, the planet Jupiter’s ingress of the sign Aries before summer starts will see you practicing greater self-examination as it pertains to personal goals and ambitions. You may decide to keep life low-key as a result, which would be quite fitting as life becomes less ambitions and more intentional centering family engagements, affairs of the heart, and activities of the mind.

By the time we enter the fall months, busy days ensue. Doctor appointments, new fitness routines, projects at the office, ongoing obligations, and other chores/responsibilities will keep your plate full. But another Mercury retrograde phase mid-September brings disruption to you regular affairs. The best way to navigate schedule glitches, undiagnosed health concerns, and other interruptions will be to practice patience. October sees forward movement where there’s been setbacks, especially as it pertains to a child, an artistic launch, or even a romantic partner that has become a new part of your day-to-day.

Relationship matters will take on greater focus in October, too, and activities that involve important others coincide with another pair of eclipses. The first solar event on October 25th brings a new chapter in an important partnership while the lunar event on November 8th brings an end to a personal chapter.

You may decide to merge with another leaving your single life behind. This could also be interpreted as the end of a personal phase of growth as you begin to invest in new commitments. What’s more, energy will amplify in between eclipses around money, finances, possessions, and resources of value to you.

This period of financial focus may feel a bit “manic,” dear Taurus. You may be negotiating a business venture, purchasing property with a domestic partner, or sharing/dividing assets in a marriage. There will be a lot of moving parts and considerations, and you may find that stalls begin to occur during this end of year period through January 2023.

I would encourage you to look back to energy unfolding on the money front late spring/early summer and be patient as stalled efforts endure in the coming weeks. There may need to be concessions made and flexibility on your part. If you are managing multiple financial portfolios, or negotiating several financial contracts, be sure to shift your priorities when necessary.

Personal and financial security are very important to you, Taurus. And so, as matters amplify regarding independent resources and resources shared, there may be some anxiety you must navigate. If you can adapt and adjust during this choppy end of year period, you’ll move through it just fine.

Overall, 2022 ends on a relatively fine note, Bull – remember, this is your year. Commitments and financial contracts feature entering December, and so too does travel, passionate interests and, again, those aspirational goals! Let curiosity be a distraction that brings you meaning entering 2023, and if ever in doubt, just call on your friends.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, TAURUS!

Taurus in 2021

1/1/2021

After a year that brought so much change, Taurus, I don’t doubt 2020 proved more stressful for you than any other sign. Not only did circumstances beyond your control put you in positions of vulnerability, cosmic events have been insisting for a couple years now that you be more proactive with change. This will continue to be the case throughout all of 2021.

We begin the year with quite a bit of activity affecting you on the career front. COVID-19 brought the need for adjustments, which may have forced you to postpone professional ambitions. For a while now, you’ve been working toward a growing sense of purpose, taking advantage of opportunities that would further you personally, vocationally, geographically and philosophically. Pauses in 2020 were necessary to get you back on right track, and 2021 sees you on a path more fitting with the legacy you’re meant to leave behind, or at the very least, you’re close to it.

A new cycle in effect will beg the need for you to bring big dreams, goals and ambitions to fruition. If you’ve been ambivalent, going back and forth with how best to apply yourself, this year will give you a push…I mean, boost! Asserting your efforts will prove most impactful on the work front where you will experience the bulk of your challenges, paired with opportunities for growth.

FYI, February sees setbacks and delays around career and entrepreneurial endeavors. There may be false starts, difficult authority figures, or internalized fear that trips you up. All will resolve by March, however, so be patient and flexible. With professional change on the horizon, remember that you must be a willing participant in it. You don’t have to throw the baby out with the bath water. But you do have to be flexible. Traveling a destined path is worth every ounce of hard work and effort.

The spring, meanwhile, is relatively calm for the most part. You enter this season feeling tired and contemplative. But as we approach your birthday month, you will start to feel more energized as you prepare for another trip around the Sun. Personal change is highlighted while career matters are still demanding discipline and focus, and this could be a pivotal time of year for you. It’s as if, to reference Michelle Obama’s autobiography, you’re in the process of “Becoming.”

Eclipses this spring on May 26th and June 10th bring turning points that will affect you on the financial fronts. A contract, commitment or investment will reach conclusion, freeing up resources (e.g., time, money, expertise, love, energy, etc.) to pursue new investments that are of priority. You may be ending a contract at work to focus on the launch of your own business, for example, or leaving behind a partnership in order to put more time into the people/things that are of value to you.

That said, June may bring financial delays and miscommunications, both things that you hate! If dissolving a tie, there may be back and forth around who gets what. If refinancing a home, there may be back and forth with a mortgage company. These minor hiccups will move forward with momentum by July, so avoid major money decisions, and again, be patient.

The summer months move along with relative ease. Short trips, home and family matters as well as play and recreation feature, while busy days amplify during the fall. You will be taking on more than your usual share of chores and responsibilities, which could be work related, centered on the care for others, or health related if navigating a medical issue.

In fact, end of September into October will bring disruptions to your routines – missed appointments, challenges with colleagues and delayed diagnoses, for example, may add stress and anxiety. “Normalcy” around daily routines returns in November right as we enter another eclipse season.

November 19th brings a lunar eclipse in your sign, ushering in a new cycle of eclipses that will fall along the Taurus/Scorpio axis. This, of course, implies more change. But by now, you’re used to it.

Paired with the solar eclipse on December 4th, you can anticipate the end of a personal cycle that allows for an important merger. You may be committing in a marital union ending your time as a bachelor/bachelorette. This could also look like completion of a personal project that holds significance, as you seek financial support to help expand upon your efforts.

More tests of faith come end of December entering 2022, especially as you attempt to launch a dream that’s been years in the making. But this, too, will be an exercise of identifying more meaning and life fulfillment so that you end up more firmly on the path meant for you – you’re closer than you think.

What I love about your year ahead, Taurus, is that you will be making so much progress in life overall. You’ll be that much closer to a dream realized, most likely unaware of just how far you’ve come. What’s more, a new influence that begins around the end of the year sees you connecting with folks who can support you along your journey. This isn’t a solo journey, dear Bull. You do not have to do change alone. You’ve got helpers in flesh and spirit guiding you.

Happy New Year, Taurus!

“Dear Taurus: It’s me, your Soul. I have a favor to ask: Would you mind taking a leap of faith for us? I promise that you will land on your feet.”

Sound familiar? Over the past few years, Taurus, you have been considering what risks were worth your comfort and security. You have contemplated a complete overhaul of life as you know it for a new life filled with expansion, travel, new opportunities and purposeful living.

I’m happy to report that you’ve got wings in 2020! A solar eclipse that peaked on December 26th, 2019 set the stage for travel and other adventures that see you traversing foreign territory (literally and figuratively speaking). Furthermore, the planet of disruption (Uranus) will transit your sign over the next seven years, bringing a rebellious streak that will lead to change.

There will be a lunar eclipse on January 10th that encourages you to leave comfort behind, or at least, strategically plan an exit strategy. Whether you are leaving behind a neighborhood where you’ve lived for decades, or venturing into a new professional field that requires new learning and education, something of comfort cannot come with you into this next chapter.

As you embark on deliberate change, you may be questioning where you will land and who you can count on for support. Group affiliations and company settings may feel uneasy if you are saying goodbye or asking for a reassignment to Tibet! Trust that all will unfold as it should, Taurus. Be flexible, in other words.

You may also begin to experience some anxiety by all these changes in effect, anxiety that will return during the fall months. But as we reach the spring, you will begin to feel more certain of plans. This will lead you to assert your own agenda in ways that make people say, “you’ve changed!”

Life moves at a quick pace before whirlwind energy from above takes over in May and June. An extended assessment is underway at this time that sees your mind on your money. You may be considering financial changes and adjustments that would support broader pursuits, like participation in a degree program or an extended culinary training overseas. Consideration for a pay raise is also an interpretation, especially as a result of a performance review and evaluation.

The give and take in relationships feature too as you contemplate your worth. Possessions are included should a property you own undergo an appraisal. What is assessed will not be resolved until July, and this will be compounded as we enter another eclipse season during the summer months.

Three eclipses will peak this summer instead of the standard two. Lunar eclipses on June 5th and July 5th bring completions around commitments and contract agreements that may be linked to the financial assessment unfolding, as well as higher aims that see you furthering yourself. You may be paying off student loans or receive word that you’ve qualified for a grant or scholarship opportunity.

Meanwhile, the potent solar eclipse nestled in between lunar eclipses peaks right at summer solstice on June 21st, bringing a new start around learning, education and communication. Something is confirmed, Taurus, whether it be your enrollment in a new study program, or a final “yes” to salary negotiations that bring an increase.

While eclipse energy unfolds, however, remember that a financial assessment is still underway. Furthermore, there may be some miscommunications around a deal or a contract agreement – confirmations may be delayed. All of this activity will find resolution by mid-July into August, so be patient. Do not get discouraged and continue to have faith.

July and August bring a brief reprieve as eclipse energy settles with forward momentum. You will get a few weeks to adjust; September, comes with another round of choppy weather. The fall season includes delays that will be felt by all of us. For you, dear Bull, inner turmoil ensues.

An intentional turn inward begins right at the Autumn Equinox. You may be working hard on a project behind the scenes or experience severe internal tension due to external changes and circumstances. This is especially true if you find yourself overwhelmed by growing demands on your time and schedule. New endeavors that began during the summer may prove to be more challenging than anticipated.

This will be further compounded in October by delays and setbacks in daily affairs. Colleagues at work may be putting more chores on your plate while significant others require more time and attention. These are examples of the disruption you might experience when it comes to your lifestyle and regular affairs, and it will further contribute to inner angst.

November sees such obstacles lifting. But until then, be patient and gentle with yourself. Should you decide to consult a therapist for inner processing, or simply cling to spiritual practices that bring inner peace, do it. To dig in your heels with stubborn reactions will get you nowhere fast. You will only feel more frustrated as a result.

You will have little control over the blocks you experience at this time, and it will take until the end of 2020 before you begin to feel a reprieve from inner conflict. Give things time to resolve. November through the end of the year will also see your schedule and daily life return to normal, just in time for a final pair of eclipses.

A lunar eclipse on November 30th brings completion on the money front. What was assessed back in May and June will culminate during this lunation. December 14th, meanwhile, comes with a solar eclipse – a new beginning that sees you taking on a new start and routine in your daily life.

Whatever this chapter brings will be a result of risks taken throughout the year, Taurus. Your lifestyle will soon expand with responsibilities that enhance your day-to-day, especially on the career front in 2021. New responsibilities and projects may reflect professional endeavors as you more fully embrace purposeful living in all life areas.

Happy New Year, Taurus!

Relationships with significant others took up quite a bit of your time and energy in 2018. Rather intense exchanges and experiences may have developed; hopefully, you find yourself involved in healthier connections. Increased intimacy and commitments feature in 2019, which means lessons on flexibility continue. But first, eclipses…

A solar eclipse peaks as soon as we enter the new year on January 5th, bringing new beginnings around expansive pursuits. This has been a life theme for quite some time, Taurus. The Universe continues to challenge you to broaden yourself through higher learning, travel, vocational training, and whatever else takes you out of your comfort zone. The lunar eclipse on January 21st brings an end to comfort - literally. You may be relocating, settling in to new settings, or leaving behind familiar surroundings to embark upon new journeys.

Flexibility will be necessary throughout the spring. New environments beg the need for you to branch out and meet new people, and there may be a few delays in March. Planned engagements, social activities, conferences and events with friends could be derailed. The same is true if you are participating in group projects, or joining a new association – things may not go as planned. Try not to get discouraged, dear Bull. Setbacks will move forward by April, just in time for your birthday.

And what a birthday it will be! The rest of spring sees you feeling restless and in need of more freedom to pursue personal ambitions. This theme began around the time of your birthday last year and remains in effect in 2019. Change is never easy for you. But you may feel inspired having taken greater leaps of faith. Of course, as you try to identify more autonomy and freedom, be sure not to neglect your commitments to others.

The summer comes with two more eclipses – a solar eclipse on July 2nd and a lunar eclipse on July 16th. The first eclipse will see you entering a new learning phase, whether you find yourself in a classroom setting, or familiarizing yourself in a new community. Writing projects, communication ventures, and other mental platforms will begin fresh, courtesy of the solar eclipse. The lunar eclipse, meanwhile, brings a completion of activity around higher aims. If you have completed a certification, or received a license to practice a new trade, you will now be challenged to apply what you have learned.

With that said, application may face delays mid-July through August, as another round of setbacks creep in. If you are enrolled in a program that sees you commuting far from home, or family demands interrupt educational endeavors, try to be patient. As you attempt to focus on mental pursuits, you may find that domestic arrangements prove distracting. These matters will resolve by September, so remember to stay flexible.

The fall months are better months as activity increases around fun, romance, and creative ventures. Family planning is highlighted too, as well as DIY projects around the house. Of course, this will increase engagements with significant others, and there may be a few relationship snafus come November. Misunderstandings in partnership are highlighted – mattes should resolve by December.

The end of the year comes with a parting gift in the form of a solar eclipse on December 26th, the day after Christmas. This coincides with Jupiter’s ingress of Capricorn, increasing motivation to further your own aims and sense of purpose. Despite a few obstacles, you will land on your feet in 2019.

Happy New Year, Taurus!

Taurus in 2018

Yours is a sign of stability, security and predictability. But 2018 brings a lot of change, disruption and new possibilities! The planet of shock and rebellion enters the sign of the Bull this May, which will bring sudden developments, and even a slight overhaul of life as you know it. This is not necessarily bad, Taurus (I can see you getting uncomfortable already!). It is just the Universe asking you to be open to a new way of living and being. Something tells me that this is long over do!

The New Year begins with activity moving forward around commitments, shared assets, contractual agreements, and the merging of financial resources. Whatever delays you experienced in December, these matters will soon progress. Whether you are purchasing property, or starting a new job, you can expect a final resolution to stalled talks and delays. What’s more, new opportunities to step outside of your comfort zone will be highlighted! You will be challenged to stretch and grow this entire year, especially in February when eclipses bring a completion of activities on the home front, and a fresh start involving your career. Spread your wings, Taurus – the sky is officially the limit!

By spring, you will have some breathing room to seriously consider all of these changes unfolding. In fact, mid-March through mid-April may extend considerations regarding a big decision. Take all the time that you need dear Bull, and do not be too anxious to come to any final conclusions. Once we reach your birthday month, like it or not, life will shift in an entirely new direction. It would behoove you to take a proactive approach with this dynamic energy; resistance will be futile.

The summer months, meanwhile, bring some choppy energy, courtesy of another round of eclipses influencing more changes at home, and on the career front (we get three eclipses this summer instead of just the usual two). You may be trying to assert yourself with a work goal or project, and experience severe setbacks. This will be frustrating, and the lunar eclipse on July 28th brings a hard “stop,” forcing you to find another way around obstacles.

You may have to get clear on your higher aims, Taurus; how might you be getting in your own way? What limiting beliefs need to be usurped so that you can feel a greater sense of purpose when it comes to your work and vocation? International activities, relocation, or a job in a new field may be the cause of certain interruptions, and you would be wise not to stick with what is comfortable and familiar. New learning in a new environment may be the stimulation needed to inspire you to expand.

By the time we reach the end of summer, a gradual shift will surface. Home and family dynamics may be a little choppy in August, especially if you are purchasing property, or expecting a new addition to your clan. But a fresh start will be underway, nevertheless. Career setbacks will also resolve by fall, although you may find that professional sacrifices are necessary so that you can focus on what brings you fulfillment in life.

Relationship matters will come into sharper focus as we reach the end of the year. In fact, all of 2018 will bring opportunities for love and romance. But between October and November, you may be reassessing important connections – it is even possible that ghosts from relationships past return. Try not to make any big decisions, especially as your commitments to others come up for questioning in November/December. The end of the year, and into 2019, may see you merging for good in a partnership, whether for love, business, or money!

Happy New Year, Taurus!

2016 has been relatively quiet for you, dear Taurus. That’s not to say that life has been entirely calm and without stress or worry; you have definitely dealt with a few close calls and anxiety producing events! But you have done so on the low. You have not made much of a fuss. You have carried out your responsibilities like a good Bull, especially given how lessons from the past (namely 2015) forced you to change your approach to dealing with challenges. 2017 will see its fair share of “happenings” too, which you will handle with equal amounts of grace, charm, and steadfastness.

The year begins with travel delays, and possible disruptions around higher learning. Many of you may be visiting distant lands, or simply completing a training course that has broadened your mind. The start/stop energy of January is certain to bring obstacles in the form of transportation breakdowns, or the reworking of a research project, so consider yourself forewarned. You might even begin to second guess your own wisdom, Taurus, questioning personal truths and philosophies after having been exposed to new cultures and traditions that nudged you out of your comfort zone. This will most likely be a healthy exercise of questioning, but wait until February before making any final conclusions.

The month of February will not only bring clarity, but also a new chapter beginning courtesy of two eclipses. Activity on the home front could lead to the completion of a renovation project, or the final sale/purchase of property. You may also join a new group, network, or affiliation that leads to career changes during the summer months; relocation for career purposes is also highlighted toward the end of the year, courtesy of eclipses in August. Of course, before such events can occur, you may have to go through a lengthy review process that sees you considering how best to move forward with big change. March and April will be noteworthy months that bring contemplation, reflection, and internalized scrutiny, for the sake of making better, more conscious decisions that bring you confidence. As you go within for the answers you seek, consider sharing your thoughts and sentiments with others – a trusted friend or a professional counselor. You will be working through a process that requires patience as you navigate uncertainty and subconscious insecurities. May and/or June will be better months to act on your plans, and increased daily activities will help you to reach your goals.

As we move toward the fall and winter months, two new energetic shifts will begin to take up much of your time. For starters, relationships will expand starting in October through 2018! You stand to benefit from those you would consider significant others – a spouse, business partner, or close friend. At the same time, important contractual agreements, asset divisions, and financial commitments will require your attention; this is especially true if you are forging some kind of joint venture. You must be extra diligent when it comes to how your resources are wrapped up with others. This theme is not new, and will come to a close by the end of the year. What unfolds could set you off on a new journey that takes you far and broadens your sense of meaning and purpose. In fact, this type of expansion is highlighted all through 2018, as you hunker down to embark on adventures in travel and learning that bring a new life chapter!

This can be a year of change that suits you, Taurus. Just be open, and yes, flexible.

Happy New Year, Taurus!

Taurus in 2016

1/3/2016

You should be proud of yourself, dear Taurus, for all the changes you made in 2016. I am being serious; yours is such an immovable sign, so the fact that your life looks completely different now is kind of a big deal. You surrendered to new beliefs. You replaced a debilitating mindset with more positivity and optimism. You made adjustments for the sake of love and romance. You branched out into new social settings that support your dreams for the future. This is major, and 2016 brings more of the same.

January starts with wanderlust, and many Bulls may be taking a trip to foreign lands. If you plan to stay put, then maybe you are stretching your mind with mindfulness practices and self help books that can change your life for the better. You feel inspired to do more, to be more, and to live more – and there is no time like the present to tap into what motivates you the most. What inspires you will serve as the catalyst for career energy taking shape in February, so go ahead and indulge. Try to hold off, however, on making any big existential life changes at this time, as plans might be delayed (travel could also experience a few glitches). Just bask in what gives you meaning, and wait until next month before following through on the hunches of your Soul.

As we move into March, eclipses will add fuel to your drive. Many of you will be finishing up important activity that has kept you busy over the last few months, so that you might spend more time with friends, join new clubs, and broaden your affiliations. Spring will be in bloom, and you will want to spend time outdoors. The more people you can connect with this month, the better.

In fact, it would behoove you to make time for what you love during the first quarter of 2016, because the months of April through June will be difficult (May, your birthday month, will be the most difficult of all). When it comes to personal plans and initiatives, you will experience much in the way of delays. It is possible that you are forced to go back to the drawing board with projects, and no doubt, this will feel frustrating. Meanwhile, activity surrounding an important joint venture or collaboration will also experience disruption. It will feel as though you are taking two steps forward and two steps back when it comes to business collaborations, financial investments, or intimate connections. Do not dig in your heels, Taurus – remember the flexibility you exercised in 2015? Try to find common ground in romance, as well as activities with new groups or associations. Otherwise, you won’t know where to invest your time, love, and energy.

The summer months are much better with increased activity on the home front, and eclipses in August and September will bring significant changes to your career. Meanwhile, October begins a new wave of activity that will increase the affairs of your day-to-day, possibly due to family expansion. No matter your experience, life is only going to get better from here on out!

Happy New Year, Taurus!

Taurus in 2015

Family and home planning are still in effect throughout the year, Taurus. If you are looking to relocate, renovate or add to your growing kin, the stars are perfectly aligned! Give yourself between now and April to set the proper foundations, especially since work matters will take precedent as you step into the New Year. If you can avoid digging in your heels, you’ll be able to easily adjust to the demands of a boss, client or colleague.

Important mergers and contracts will be highlighted throughout 2015. If you are joining forces in the spirit of entrepreneurship (more likely between January and February), or with a romantic partner (more likely towards the end of the year), your full investment will be necessary. Taurus in general has learned some pretty steep lessons in the realm of relating, and you finally understand what it means to compromise. Committing to your partner whether for business or for pleasure means that things can’t always be your way.

Meanwhile, March sees forward movement in all areas, and a Solar Eclipse on the 20th will bring fresh faces and connections. They won’t be your run of the mill type, though, but it would behoove you to engage, nevertheless. As you focus on ridding yourself of certain false truths about your life, you will be freed up to begin trusting the experiences you have, using your intuition as your guide. Someone you meet may very well be worth getting to know. Don’t let their appearance fool you and be sure to listen to your gut. It’s this kind of person who could really help you to pursue your dreams for the future.

In fact, while you push forth on your dreams for the future, be mindful of any obstacles that arise between May and June. If you want to be recognized and properly compensated for your skills and talents, you will have to actually believe in what you are selling. Don’t settle too easily if negotiations seem to be going nowhere, and if you find that it’s an issue of self-esteem on your part, deal with it, and stat. You can’t afford to give away free milk Taurus. What you have to offer of yourself in love or money is just too valuable. Increased awareness of your innate gifts and attributes could be the catalyst for significant change towards the end of the year!

By the summer of 2015, a new wave of energy will be of influence, blessing creative projects, romance, and fertility. Whether you are hoping to give birth to a brain child or a physical child, this period into 2016 will be quite auspicious. You may have to go back to the drawing board in August, especially if you’re trying to conceive or finalize a home purchase. But a second Solar Eclipse on September 13th will be your ticket to manifesting creative desires.

This is a year of abundance, Taurus. All you have to do is open up and receive.

Happy New Year, Taurus!

Taurus in 2014

1/1/2014

A brand new world could open up for you in 2014, Taurus. But it depends on how open you’ll be to the experience. A strong belief in all things possible, matched with enough flexibility in managing your daily affairs, is the formula for success as the year unfolds. Of course, you will have to incorporate others into your agenda, which necessitates the consideration oftheir opinions and perspectives, further promoting any shared goals (a theme that’s been prevalent since the end of 2012). If you’re in a relationship, you’ll begin to design a future that includes your partner’s dreams and wishes. If single, various viewpoints could help broaden your own big picture. Whether you merge for business or pleasure, others will have a huge impact on the decisions you make. New obligations are in store, and all for the sake of personal expansion.

Taurus’ everywhere will hit the ground running after the clock strikes midnight on January 1st, and from now into the summer months you’ll find that you need people as much as they need you. This means cooperation and compromise will be crucial, especially with regards to certain New Year’s resolutions. The good news is that you’ll have a positive outlook, while involvement in community affairs will bring additional insights to what’s in store (and keep you busy!). This influence will be a pleasant one, which you can use to begin forging connections with those who motivate you towards the application of new life principles. But warning: do not overcrowd your schedule with activities. As regular responsibilities increase, it would behoove you to delegate when possible (you don’t want to cut in to your infamous down time!).

Meanwhile, a curious mind will push you to explore opportunities you never would have imagined. This will lead to significant breakthroughs that allow you to live life fully conscious, and with an increased sense of purpose. A Solar Eclipse in your sign on April 29th starts a new chapter – one similar to what you experienced last year during your birthday month. The focused energy of this eclipse will move you closer to personal achievements, so with that being said; keeping a fixed attitude will prevent situations from manifesting to your liking. I don’t think I need to remind you of why it’s necessary to eradicate any rigid or self limiting beliefs. Interestingly enough, this is where close others could be the most influential.

As we enter the mid-year season, your attention will shift to the domestic side of life. Many Bulls may decide to finally commit to a significant other, while some of you spend this time simply nurturing your emotional well being. A pregnancy could be on the cards for many of you also, thus adding to the expansion of home and family. No matter how you experience this shift, be forewarned that adjustments must be made on your part whether you like it or not. If you can roll with the tides, you’ll find this period to be quite rewarding; it’ll clear the path to that brand new world I was just telling you about earlier.

Happy New Year, Taurus!
