Pisces in 2023

1/1/2023

A gradual build-up of energy begins right at the start of the year as the planet Mars stations direct in the sign of Gemini on January 13, where it has been retrograde since October 2022.

All the planets in our solar system do what’s called, “retrograde,” with Mercury being the planet that retrogrades most frequently throughout the calendar year. A retrograde planet gives the optical illusion of orbiting the almighty Sun backwards, which can be symbolized as a nudge from the Universe to pause and reroute where necessary, based on where the planet is affecting us in our natal charts.

Now, Mars in Astrology connects us to how we initiate our deepest passions. But while retrograde, assertive efforts feel blocked. Such blocks and thwarted motivation can be frustrating for us down below. So, as the Warrior planet gets back to its regular pace and orbit, you can anticipate that the affairs of life will amplify, a momentum that continues through the spring and summer seasons.

Home, family, domestic matters, property matters, and renovations around the house will begin to move forward, Pisces. If you’ve been held up in a prolonged settlement process, or navigating domestic change, you can expect progress. This is especially important as it relates to new company environments or friendships you wish to cultivate if you find yourself in new surroundings; Mercury will also station direct in the sign of Capricorn on January 19, where it’s been retrograde since December 2022 bringing delays in group settings.

In fact, networking, time spent with friends, social occasions, and other special events are highlighted throughout the months of January and February. You may be planning a major conference or celebrating your solar return! If you’ve been trying to get your bearings in new groups and affiliations, the direct stations of Mercury and Mars may very well be connected.

This will, no doubt, lead to some needed rest and retreat, Pisces. Interestingly, by the time we enter the spring months, the elements of your subconscious self and ego drives will undergo major shifts as two momentous cosmic events develop above: Saturn will ingress (enter) your sign – the sign of the Fish – on March 8, and Pluto will ingress the sign of Aquarius on March 24.

Both these planetary shifts are set to bring important lessons to humanity below, especially in the way of social unrest, spiritual growth, and revolutionary coups. For you, inner transformation, personal discipline, and self-focus are highlighted. You’re entering a period of profound change from the inside out – a period that will reshape both your internal workings and outer evolution.

Spring will be the time to direct your energy in assertive ways, then. You will feel quite driven and determined as Mars continues to move in forward motion bringing domestic stability. Opportunities during this first quarter or 2023 may beg the need for you to get clear on your overall direction in life. This will be amplified on April 20 when a solar eclipse peaks, bringing new opportunities around finances and resources. Whether purchasing negotiating new streams of income or on the receiving end of a hefty tax refund, money matters are highlighted.

However, Mercury will station retrograde again the day after the eclipse on April 21, bringing miscommunication and back-and-forth around money. A scholarship process may take longer to complete, or misunderstanding around financial contracts are likely. These things will resolve when the Messenger planet stations direct on May 15, and most likely in your favor.

The lunar eclipse peaks on May 5, meanwhile, wrapping up activities centering aspirational aims, higher learning, and even travel. Of course, with Mercury retrograde, there will still be delays. But as Jupiter shifts into the sign of Taurus on May 17, learning endeavors, classroom activities, and new settings that stimulate the mind will motivate you to indulge new curiosities.

A surge of energy continues as we reach the summer solstice in the meantime. This year is fast and furious, Pisces! Fun, recreation, busy days, and relationship matters will amplify!

That said, the close of July sees Venus stationing retrograde on the 23rd bringing an assessment to your quality of life. This may be inspired by a health matter, you may be considering new routines, or undergoing a performance evaluation. These are just a few examples of how Venus – the planet that connects us to love, beauty, money, and personal aesthetics – will be of impact while retrograde.

This gets a little dicey as Mercury stations retrograde once more just a month later on August 24. At this point of the year, significant others – close friends, spouse, romantic partner, business partner, etc. – will dominate your time. You may be identifying ways to care for an ailing loved one or figuring out the ins and outs of a team project at the office. No matter your experience, delays in these areas are likely courtesy of Venus and Mercury retrograde.

Such matters will resolve in September when Venus stations direct on the 4th and Mercury stations direct on the 16th. Back-and-forth with business associates will move forward. A relative in need of your care and support has found their way. Personal health matters are no longer interrupting your levels of productivity. What may feel like a suspenseful holding pattern finally lifts!

October brings the last two eclipses of the year, meanwhile. A solar event on the 14th inspires new investments and intimate dealings, while the lunar eclipse on the 28th wraps up education programs and online projects. FYI, these eclipses are connected to the spring pair of eclipses. You may be finalizing a scholarship agreement, completing a certification program that can be used as leverage for higher pay, or paying off student loans.

Much of 2023 sees you immersing you mind in new ways, be it as teacher or student, and in new environments that pique new interests. A learning curve is underway – one that will bring fresh insights and awareness that inform personal change and decisions. Remember, Pisces, a period of transformation within is currently in effect, inspiring you to think differently and unlearn outgrown perspectives.

As we close out the year, the pace of life will pick up! Travel, new experiences, and fresh opportunities feature that may very well feed growing excitement on the career front. Actually, November through December sees energy building in your profession, Pisces. Whether pursuing a new position or launching a business, you have quite a bit of cosmic support.

That said, Mercury retrogrades one last time on December 13, which could bring hiccups on the work front. A possible promotion may be postponed. Interviews get pushed back. Misunderstandings with higher-ups could bring stress.

There’s no need to worry, however; matters on the career front will resolve in the new year. Aside from Mercury’s backward spin, 2023 ends on a rather ambitious note!

Pisces in 2022

As we venture into 2022, dear Pisces, you may be evaluating your involvement(s) within a social network or professional affiliation. To be honest, this exercise is not new. For years – since 2008 to be exact – you’ve been in search of your true tribe and community.

The desire to belong when it comes to a mission you work for, or a friendship with another, has grown and become quite significant. No longer can you tolerate associations that don’t jive with your values or enhance your own growth, and as Venus and Mercury retrograde at the start of the year, where you fit in will be up for consideration.

You may be navigating a probationary period in a new department at work, mapping out a demographic you wish to reach for a business launch, or assessing your links to a spiritual community. Where you stand will not be made clear until February – the real start to the new year. So, be patient.

Life will open for you no matter what unfolds as Jupiter picks up speed in your sign bringing all sorts of personal growth, opportunities, and confidence for most of the year. That’s why this review of your allegiances will be so important to sit through. You’re about to expand, and if certain ties/orgs limit your wingspan, you may be looking for a new professional and social “home.”

March is when momentum builds. You may find that your birthday season is quieter than usual, but you will also feel assured with your personal path as new directions and perspectives take form. Money matters feature during the spring, which will amplify mid-year when Jupiter moves onto Aries for a short stint, along with mental pursuits – learning, training, writing, short trips, etc.

In fact, cosmic turning points in 2022 will insist that you use your voice to express your wisdom, knowledge, opinion, and expertise. Your mind will be liberated, and you may find that you’re becoming quite the influencer as your audience expands and listens wherever you’ve established a platform.

This coincides with an eclipse season beginning late April. A solar event on April 30th initiates a new start that centers education, online activities, and communication platforms. The lunar event on May 16th, meanwhile, brings completion around higher aims.

You may be wrapping up a specialized course or certification that can now be utilized for teaching others. Another example would be the publishing of an important book that leads to speaking tours, or new experiences that inform new ways of thinking.

That said, there may be a few delays around these new chapters courtesy of yet another Mercury retrograde. Misunderstandings feature, as well as tech glitches, transportation delays, and miscommunication.

The first week of June sees Mercury stationing direct, and momentum around education and mental pursuits will shift forward. Domestic matters will start to pick up, too, an energy that will gradually build throughout the remainder of 2022.

Summer brings fun, child’s play, romance, activities with children, entertainment, and all other summer joys! This season will feel rather light compared to the start of the year. Your personal growth continues, along with expansive energy on the money front.

You may come into new streams of income or be on the receiving end of an inheritance. This could also look like property investments as domestic matters build, or the launch of an entrepreneurial endeavor.

This activity will keep you busy as we enter the fall months, so be careful not to put too much on your plate. Relationship matters will pick up, too, in August, further contributing to a full schedule.

Work matters, doctor appointments, ongoing chores and responsibilities, health, wellness, extra-curricular affairs, and all the above will put greater demands on your time, dear Fish. Balance between movement in you day and time for rest will be necessary. You’ll eventually notice that important partnership commitments and agreements come into focus, meanwhile, and these, too, will soon undergo delays.

Busy days remain highlighted in September, along with domestic and relationship matters. What’s more, Mercury will station retrograde mid-month, bringing setbacks and obstacles. If you are negotiating the terms of an agreement with a business partner, or signing a pre-nuptial agreement with a spouse, there may be a few re-negotiations that require your consideration. This is not a time to strongarm your way through developments, Pisces. October brings momentum, so again, be patient.

The rest of fall still sees home and family matters highlighted, and this will amplify by the time we reach October. Partnership agreements and understandings will resolve once Mercury stations direct the first week of the month, but Mars retrograde soon follows with obstacles around domestic affairs.

Of all the planets, Mars can be the hardest one to navigate while retrograde. Its energy connects us to our force of will, so when it does a backward spin around the almighty Sun, our energy feels blocked.

Mars will retrograde in the sign of Gemini, which may feel a bit “manic.” For you, dear Pisces, this could look like a lot of moving parts at home and with relatives.

If you are beginning new construction on a house, working out the affairs of an elderly relative, or navigating domestic change (someone moving in or out), much will need to be accomplished, and you may be pulled in multiple directions. This is bound to bring some anxiety so it will be important to give yourself permission to bob and weave and redirect your energy where necessary. You may have to drop some of the moving parts to turn your attention elsewhere, learning how to become a “master adaptor.”

Lucky for you, yours is an “ebbing and flowing” kind of sign. Mars will remain retrograde through January 2023; the more you can properly pace your energy, the better.

The rest of 2022 remains full in the meantime! Another pair of eclipses peaking on October 25th (solar) and November 8th (lunar) initiate new starts and closures centered around learning/education and aspirational aims. You may travel abroad or get accepted into a degree program courtesy of the solar eclipse, and whatever starts new will be confirmed (or affirmed) by the lunar eclipse.

The world will feel like your oyster closing out the year, Pisces! Professional growth and advancement feature, along with networking and time spent focused on social engagements. In fact, events will come full circle in December with networking on the rise; remember, this is how we started the year off!

If you are relocating, you may be in search of new friends. If you are starting in a new job or institutional setting, you may be building new contacts. Your year ends on a rather full note and 2022 will be eventful, to say the least! Retrogrades aside, growth and adventure abound. Be sure to trust an unfolding process.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, PISCES!

Pisces in 2021

No doubt, 2020 was heavy for you, dear Fish. Not only were you in some way personally impacted by events that unfolded throughout the year. You also felt the weight of the world on your shoulders – everyone’s pain, struggles and fears.

As the “Buddha” of the Zodiac, you understand more than any sign the challenges we face as a human collective. You understand what it means to be in this world, not of it, transcending the challenges of everyday life. After such an unrelenting year, we’ve all been forced to evolve a bit becoming more spiritually enlightened, and no sign is more prepared to level up in 2021 than you.

Themes in effect all year center your subconscious self. At the start of the year, you will begin a very intentional inward dive that looks like greater self-inquiry and reflection. With Neptune, the planet of illusion, hovering in your sign (Neptune is your ruler in astrology), you can expect to navigate two worlds more intently – the nuts and bolts of the 3rd dimension and the mysticism of all metaphysical dimensions.

Proper discernment between what is real and imagined, then, will be required throughout this experience. In fact, the month of February may bring a lot of confusion and even delusion around your state of existence, living and being on this Earth plane. This is especially true if contemplating a big decision or considering a major life change. So be patient as confusion grows and fog thickens during the late winter period, especially if your susceptible to seasonal depression or sadness. Clarity returns by March.

Keep in mind, too, that as this energy unfolds, you are growing in awareness. Your spidey sense will sharpen, your intuition will expand, and you will further transcend the Earth plane as you undergo a deep awakening and shift in perspective. This may feel a little trippy, so hang on to the anchor that keeps you grounded.

The spring season, meanwhile, moves along just fine. A lot of activity will be highlighted around more tangible things like finances, learning and education as well as domestic matters. In fact, you may feel inspired to stimulate you mind in new way as your sense of perception and reality gradually shift. Another theme in effect all year will encourage you to enter new environments, indulge curiosities and open your mind to new ways of thinking.

Late spring, meanwhile, sees us entering an eclipse season. May 26th and June 10th brings a lunar and solar event, respectively, that will impact you on the work/life axis. Something is shifting on the career front that will lead to more solid foundations on the home front. You may be relocating for work, or simply centering the sanctuary of home as your outer world expands.

That said, delays on the domestic front are likely. Misunderstandings with relatives, hiccups around property matters or setbacks with renovation projects could prolong this new start set to occur courtesy of the solar eclipse. Events will move forward by July, however, so stay patient.

The summer season brings fun, children, romance, relationships and creative aims that will no doubt lead to busy days. You can thoroughly enjoy this time of year. As COVID-19 cases steadily decline with vaccinations underway, we will all be less restricted when it comes to getting out and enjoying the warm climate in the northern hemisphere.

By fall, as this energy begins to wane, important commitments will take on greater focus, especially if signing contracts, merging in a partnership or investing in a business venture. As quickly as things develop, you can anticipate a few stalls and back/forth with negotiations. A salary agreement may need to be reconsidered while intimate dealings bring uncertainty. This, too, shall pass, Pisces. November brings resolution.

November also sees us entering the last eclipse season of the year, with a lunar event on November 19th and a solar event on December 4th. Both eclipses are set to feed one another in ways that bring final communications around a work matter. If you are negotiating a salary agreement, for example, you can expect a “yes” that comes along with a promotion. If you are completing an important training or educational certification, it will be what leads to professional advancement.

This all bodes well for a solid end of year, Pisces. Career matters feature along with networking, holiday gatherings and social engagement as we close out 2021. Keep in mind, however, that an assessment begins mid- December centering your involvement in a new group, company setting or affiliation. A probationary period or performance evaluation, for examples, may not complete until 2022, so again, be patient.

No matter how this all unfolds, it will most likely result in your favor. A new theme that begins at the end of 2021 sees 2022 becoming your year to shine. Remember to trust yourself as you level up over the coming 12 months – life is about to blossom.

Happy New Year, Pisces!

Pisces in 2020

1/1/2020

The year ahead comes with a lot of inner reflection, a steady faith in self, and the need for proper discernment as you consider personal change. 2020 sees a lot of cosmic storms and choppy weather. But you, dear Pisces, will find a way to keep your peace and bearings.

This year begins in 2019 with a solar eclipse on December 26th set to bring a new start in certain groups and networks. Whether there are departmental changes at work, or if you find yourself in a new setting entirely, you can anticipate new chapters centered on your involvement in different organizations and affiliations.

On January 10th, a full moon lunar eclipse brings an ending with regards to a creative aim, romantic prospect or activities involving children. Something wraps up here; a child may experience a milestone or begin attending a new school. An artistic venture may be launched with the support of investors. Another interpretation would be the decision to enter a friendship with a former flame.

As energy from these eclipses unfold during the first quarter of the year, you may be navigating periods of confusion and uncertainty around big change and decisions. Be patient with yourself, Pisces. Let developments unfold. A new cosmic influence will begin to engage your subconscious mind, asking you to get a grip on the anxieties, fears and doubts that get in the way of conscious decision making. Clarity returns by spring and confidence will be restored.

As the weather warms, you may decide to consult a counselor in order to feel a greater authority over your internal workings and reactions. Discipline will be required as you get intimate with the darkness of your mind, whether in the form of therapy, a more structured meditation practice, or a combination of both. This will take on more significance in 2021.

Meanwhile, the rest of spring sees activity building around money and learning (money matters may come up for review again during the fall). If you are seeking funding for educational pursuits that garner new skills, you have a ton of cosmic support. Same is true if you are being compensated for workshop facilitation. Financial gains are highlighted as you take advantage of mental opportunities.

This will be important throughout the year, Pisces. You are becoming more desirous of new stimulus as you engage your mind and connect with others in different ways. So, be inquisitive. Give yourself permission to indulge curiosities, whether you want to try teaching a writing class, or become a public speaker, you have support.

As we reach the end of May, choppy cosmic storms will develop and impact you on the home and family front. Something is under an assessment, like a property appraisal or a renovation project. You may be considering domestic change at this time, and whatever you decide will be influenced by summer eclipses; there will be three this time around instead of the standard two.

Lunar eclipses peak on June 5th and July 5th bringing completions on the career front as well as with your involvement in a group or network. You may be wrapping up a work assignment, or leaving a job entirely.

The solar eclipse, meanwhile, peaks right at summer solstice on June 21st. This will be potent energy that brings a new start to an artistic venture or even a romantic prospect. New beginnings involving children are also highlighted.

Whatever ends courtesy of the lunar eclipses will feed the new start at the solar eclipse. You may be going on maternity leave as you prepare for motherhood. It is also possible that you are leaving behind a corporate job to launch a creative entrepreneurial venture. As events unfold, remember that an assessment remains in effect on the domestic front. Home and family changes must be considered as big decisions are made during the summer eclipse season.

July into August brings a reprieve. Domestic assessments are resolved while back and forth around a child or creative aim is confirmed in anticipation of a new start. Life will settle temporarily before another cosmic storm carries us into the fall months.

September brings significant obstacles on the money front, Pisces. Whatever was percolating during the spring months is up for review this fall. You may be entering important negotiations around a property investment, or undergo deliberations around compensation in a lawsuit. Whatever your experience, there will be blocks and delays due to circumstances beyond your control, and this will feel frustrating.

Meanwhile October brings additional setbacks that will only compound the frustrations that begin in September. Negotiations may stall. There may also be financial misunderstandings around a contract agreement.

It’s as if you are attempting to make a deal at this time that begs the need for you to merge important resources, but you will be uncertain of how best to move forward as a result of financial obstacles. Compensation for services may be delayed, thus, delaying your ability to financially invest in a joint partnership. Funding shortages from sources of income may limit your cash flow, thus, limiting your ability to spend or make purchases.

As these obstacles unfold, your only options will be to either wait until delays lift or find a working solution in the interim. To push, force and assert your own agenda will prove futile, adding increased frustrations.

By the time we reach the month of November, delays and setbacks will begin to lift. Money will begin to flow your way, making it possible for you to merge in new contracts and agreements. Keep in mind that it may take some time for financial matters to resolve entirely – look to the end of the year for steady progress.

As life returns to business as usual in time for the holiday season, another eclipse season begins. A lunar eclipse on November 30th brings a culminating event at home and with family – property is sold or a renovation project is completed. Whatever shifts will be connected to domestic activities that were assessed back in May and June.

The solar eclipse on December 14th brings a new start on the career front, Pisces. Whether you are starting a new job or being recognized for the launch of an important entrepreneurial venture, success is likely.

Keep in mind that a new influence in effect this year begs the need for you to stay grounded during those choppy cosmic moments that bring uncertainty. If you can hold tight to your faith, listen to your intuition, and operate from a place of knowing instead of a place of fear, peace will be your bedfellow in 2020.

Happy New Year, Pisces!

Pisces in 2019

Your allegiance to certain groups, friendships and other affiliations will continue to bring tests throughout 2019. You may struggle to know where you fit in, and whether or not you wish to continue to an alliance. If you are being honest, however, it is not them, Pisces. It is you. You may be questioning yourself, who you are, and you wish to grow, which could lead to greater questioning around where you fit and belong.

Eclipses open the year bringing these questions to the surface. Where is my tribe? Who are my friends? The solar eclipse on January 5th may very well bring the answers you seek, as you begin a new start entering into a new environment. I would encourage you to be your own authority as you branch out and connect with new people. Don’t get caught up in fears of rejection.

The lunar eclipse on January 21st brings a completion of regular chores, tasks, and other responsibilities. If you are leaving your job or healing from a health scare, you will soon be made available to pursue new social engagements, career change, and other group activities.

Of course, you may continue to doubt yourself and your allegiances as we enter your birthday season. The month of March in particular will bring self-questioning and uncertainty. Professional advancement is highlighted throughout all of 2019, and so if you find yourself in a new career environment or field of employment, you can have faith in your abilities to make a solid impression. Try not to sabotage your efforts, then, and be patient. Self-comfort will return by April.

The rest of the spring brings activity around learning and education. This is a new influence in effect that began in 2018, and it is encouraging you to gain new knowledge and stimuli. What you know in terms of your current skillset has grown stale, Pisces. As restlessness ensues, give yourself permission to explore new topics of study, building upon what you already know. Should you be deliberate in choosing new mental pursuits, your mind will expand.

The summer of 2019 comes with two more eclipses. A solar eclipse on July 2nd brings fertile energy to creative projects, romance, and events involving children. Meanwhile, the lunar eclipse on July 16th brings a completion around group engagements and organizational affairs. You may be leaving a long-standing network behind to focus on more child’s play, recreation, and other artistic pursuits. This will be activity to indulge, Pisces. Pleasure and play are highlighted.

With that said, there may be delays around the launch of an artistic project. Children could bring challenges too, while a romantic affair feels unsteady. Disruptions to your schedule are also possible, which is why it will be important not to make any major moves just yet. Obstacles begin mid-July through August and will resolve by September.

As we enter the fall, concentrated cosmic energy will heighten the affairs of your day, and increase activities with significant others. You will also notice that opportunities to expand your skillset and talents come into effect by November, along with a new round of delays. Travel logistics may be interrupted. If you are enrolled in an academic program or publishing a manuscript, you can expect things to be put on hold. Bide your time, Pisces. Momentum returns in December.

The year ends with a solar eclipse in Capricorn on December 26th, followed by the new transit of Jupiter in Capricorn. Fitting in and branching out continue this holiday season. Only now, you will feel more comfortable in own skin, which leads you to find your true peanut gallery.

Happy New Year, Pisces!

Pisces in 2018

Challenges on the career front will settle as early as January, Pisces. For a while now, you have dealt with certain obstacles and restrictions at work. But those days are gone. Interesting developments will shift toward networking and group affiliations. If you find yourself in a new office setting or institution, you may have to put yourself out there to feel a greater sense of belonging.

The year begins with you deeply examining friendships, organizational associations, and networks in general. This may be a very social time, especially if you are attending work conferences and events. You may need to rely more heavily on those support systems that are there to assist you with personal and professional aims. It is possible, however, that as we move through the year, certain networks will no longer be viable. This is especially true as we enter the first eclipse season of 2018 in February; you might be leaving behind responsibilities at work, or within an association, to focus on how best to cultivate a quality of life that supports your own well-being. You may discover that your involvement in certain surroundings is no longer conducive to a stress-free existence.

Meanwhile, the spring months shift your attention to money and finances. You may be looking for additional sources of income, or seeking compensation for services; increased expenses are also highlighted. Keep in mind that mid-March through mid- April bring financial delays, so no big decisions until the end of April. The month of May comes with another shift that will influence mental stimulation, and the learning of a new trade or skillset. A desire to build upon your knowledge will settle in, as you begin to indulge your curiosities in different educational settings.

The summer months will be choppy months for us all as we welcome some unsteady cosmic weather in the form of three eclipses (we usually only get sets of two!). A solar eclipse in July will jumpstart a new beginning in a creative venture, or with a romantic link. This is fertile energy too, for those Pisces wishing to start a family. These kinds of activities will fill your days, especially with the solar eclipse in August that brings changes to your schedule. But the lunar eclipse nestled in between will put a wrench in your plans, especially if you have been struggling with inner turmoil that gets in the way of you making right, conscious decisions.

Some hidden element of your subconscious self will be brought to the surface when the lunar eclipse peaks, and sudden insights will flood your waking life. If you have been struggling with mental health (which is possible as we reach the end of June), a new revelation will help you to see things clearly, and from a different perspective. This will be the catalyst that motivates you to invest in new daily activities centered on your own set of priorities. What they are could still be up in the air; it is equally possible that a health matter needs to be resolved before you can move forward.

By September, it will be all systems go! Not only will you feel a greater sense of movement in your day-to-day as you take on new tasks and responsibilities, but you will also begin to experience new awareness that guides you toward certain goals and ambitions. How to grow and expand may still be up for questioning by October (a theme in effect all year), and a review will be underway when it comes to your vocation and skillset. Matters up for discussion will conclude by the end of November.

The year closes with energy picking up on the career front again. Only this time, positive gains are favored. There may be a few false starts, but a new career chapter will be fully underway by 2019.

Happy New Year, Pisces!

Neptune in your sign can make it difficult to tell whether you are coming or going. On the one hand, since this planet rules your sign in Astrology, you may find that you are more attuned than usual, better able to let your intuition guide the decisions you make in life. On the other hand, Neptune’s haziness can make you feel confused, leading you to question what is real versus what is imagined. The planet of dreams has been transiting Pisces for some time now, forcing you to balance the nuts and bolts of life, namely financial matters and career activities, with all things metaphysical. 2017 sees you finding a happy medium.

The year begins with a big question mark around group associations, friendships, organizational structures, and important networks. There may be departmental changes at the office, or you may be experiencing delays around plans for a friend’s birthday trip. None of this is good or bad, Pisces, it just is. I can say with certainty that the delays you are experiencing having little to do with you even as Neptune orbits your constellation. This is all due to circumstances beyond your control, circumstances that will begin to move forward by the end of the month.

February, meanwhile, is an important month that could bring a personal fresh start to the New Year. A solar eclipse on February 27th will be in your sign, filled with luck and well-wishes. You may decide to leave behind a longstanding commitment or responsibility so that you can begin to invest in your own personal growth, and development. You are ready to do you, which will require you to relieve yourself of ongoing obligations. Eclipses in August bring similar themes, as you focus on new responsibilities that better serve your life’s direction. Partnerships with others, while touch and go this month through September, could bring added support.

Meanwhile, March and April will be active months around money and finances. You may be seeking out additional sources of income, or experience a sudden hike/drop in expenses. If you have started your own company, this could be a period of financial instability as you adjust to a “new normal” with regards to personal security and monetary wealth. This is also true if you are retiring. You may begin to question your quality of life; April will bring increased discussions and negotiations around the resources you have in the form of money, property, or love. The months of May and June will see such activity resolved.

The end of the year brings a shift around higher learning, international dealings, and travel opportunities. Starting in October, and lasting through 2018, experiences that force you to step outside of your comfort zone will begin to appear. This might see you involved in academia, venturing off to distant lands, or taking up a new religious study and practice – all of this is set to broaden your life’s journey. December brings another shift that sees you getting serious about the groups, networks, and friendships in which you are invested. You may part ways with an existing organization to make room for new support systems that help you to evolve.

2017 will be a year filled with new experiences. While there are bound to be moments of uncertainty, you can trust yourself to make the right decisions, and have faith that all will work out in your favor. Neptune is on your side.

Pisces in 2016

The biggest challenges for you in 2016 stem around the work that you do and your vocation. It is possible that authority figures become difficult to manage, or that you are tasked with becoming your own personal authority for professional gains. This does not have to be a difficult experience, and the lessons learned will benefit you in the long run. Still, it will require an extra amount of discipline and focus on your part, along with self-confidence and determination.

The year begins with increased networking and socializing. You may be attending a workshop for professional goals, or simply putting your own creative works on display in order to identify folks who can support an artistic endeavor. January will be a great month to sign up for trainings that put you in contact with a wide web of like-minded people, but know that you may experience a few delays. Connections might not be as reliable, and that speaker booked for an important event may have to cancel at the last minute. Don’t worry, however; February will be a better month for group gatherings and organizational activity.

Meanwhile, eclipses in March have your name written in the stars with a Solar Eclipse in your sign on March 8th. This will bring a personal new beginning – a luck-filled celestial event full of benefits throughout the year. But in order to reap the rewards, you may have to walk away from an investment or joint venture. This eclipse is all about you; it is where your focus should be.

April through June in the meantime will be the most difficult months of 2016; the month of May is a real doozy. Career activity will demand much of your time, and an important compromise between your own needs and desires, versus the demands of significant others (in love or in business) must be reached; otherwise, you will fall short on obligations at the office. In fact, it seems that you will be spreading yourself pretty thin during this three-month period. Short trips, education, and events in your immediate environment will also fill your plate. The month of May in particular will be a month in which misunderstandings and disruptions with technology or transportation bring additional obstacles. You can consider yourself warned dear Pisces. June offers a noticeable shift and turning point, with forward momentum increasing in July.

Life will return to normal during the summer months, and relationship activity could really keep you buoyant and loving. There may be a few hiccups in an important partnership this September, but an eclipse in September will see to it that all conflicts are resolved. Meanwhile, the month of October begins a new trend benefiting you in the area of intimate bonds and financial investments. This theme will play out through 2017, and sees you getting up close and personal with important others. Not a bad way to end the year if you ask me!

Pisces in 2015

Career matters are highlighted over the coming year, and you will be tested. This isn’t all negative, Pisces. It simply means that you will be challenged to become an authority on your choice of vocation. Technically, you have a couple of years to do the work required – to choose your battles and let go of whatever fears keep you from pursuing the profession that gives you a sense of purpose. It won’t be easy, but you will be rewarded if you can move through any restrictions that are bound to appear. Believe it or not, you are ready for this next leap. You have grown, dear Pisces. You have learned a great deal, and you have been able to solidify and start living by your own personal truths and philosophies. Now it’s time to manifest.

There may be some level of resistance during the first two months of the year. A little self-reflection and the release of hidden doubts will be necessary before you can actually make any conscious moves. Go ahead and give yourself the time that you need. By March, you will be all systems go. I mean this literally; a Solar Eclipse in your sign on March 20th brings a personal new beginning! This is potent energy ensuring that your life will take off!  Some tension is possible on this day as well, and adjustments will have to be made with regards to your view of self, your talents, and your education. You may have to temporarily settle for an income that doesn’t reflect your expertise, for example. Or, if you’re looking to be self-employed, you’ll have to find a way to manage shifting resources. Keep in mind that this is not a setback. You’ll just have to rework your plans. Energy from the Solar Eclipse will be in effect for at least six months, so opportunities will still be available.

Meanwhile, home and family activity picks up around the end of spring. Some of you may be renovating or relocating, while others will be spending more time nurturing relationships with loved ones. Try to avoid any major decisions surrounding house and home from the 2nd week of May into the 2nd week of June. July will see improvements in your personal sanctuary and physical residence. In fact, you’d be wise to give yourself a little tender loving care during this time, as July sees increased activity in your daily life. Expect to get caught up in a flurry of responsibilities, and don’t be surprised if you have to redo certain items already checked off your task list. You may be focused on a project or getting into better health. Either way, your lifestyle will undergo a revamp so that you can start making the most of your time and energy.

By fall, life will mellow out, and a wonderful new influence will arrive on the relationship front. If you meet someone during this time, don’t be surprised if things progress quickly courtesy of another Solar Eclipse in your opposite sign, Virgo. While you should avoid finalizing a merger in September (in business or pleasure), you have from now into the summer of 2016 to solidify a new commitment. You will finally begin to attract the right kind of folk, while all of your current relationships will experience limitless growth and expansion too!

Pisces in 2014

1/1/2014

Over the past year, you’ve become veryclear of who you are, and have easily been able to tap into your intuition in order to make better decisions that benefit you in the long run. That’s not to say you didn’t experience some back and forth with reaching final conclusions (Pisces can be just as indecisive as Libra!). But you’ve done a better job at following your gut instincts. This newfound clarity has also helped you to firm up some of those core life principles that needed firming. Yours is a sign that finds it difficult to form boundaries, and learning how to be your own authority regarding what you think, believe and value is a lesson that’s been brewing since 2012. The question now becomes: what will you do with all that you’ve learned?

As the year begins, you’re focused on your money; your personal finances versus what you share with others. Unforeseen expenses that have tripped you up brought the need to be extra scrupulous when managing cash. Thankfully, this has been a positivedevelopment that has helped you feel more secure and comfortable (for the most part) with regards to your financial standing. Coincidentally, however, there’s a growing desire to make more investments. In fact, merging resources with another is a theme that will be highlighted in 2014. You’d best maintain some kind of nest for yourself in the process, as sudden events that bring more drainage from your pockets are bound to occur (April and October are months to watch for!).

I’ve been advising Pisces to go ahead and take a few responsiblerisks in joint ventures (whether for business or pleasure). In fact, many of you have been contemplating putting your resources towards a certain project or initiative – like building property or investing in family planning. Even if it’s a creative endeavor, you’ve got some really positive energy on your side to do what you want. Whether you open a nursery or photography studio (or any other long held dream), the positive results are endless. All that is required is a little faith in yourself, as well as an awareness of any added responsibilities.

Speaking of responsibilities, your schedule is set to pick up considerably by the second half of the year (which could be a result of joint projects). Many of you will be focused on health matters, or simply gaining a better handle of your daily affairs; the overall theme is to improve your general well being. This also involves connections, i.e., those friends or contacts that support your evolving spirit. If they limit your ability to make greater strides towards a life of genuine content, you may be questioning their worth to you as we roll into January. On the other hand, if you feel inclined to put your energy in a different social setting, then that would serve you just as well. As I said earlier, you’ve become very clear of who you are. This means that your friends, sense of stability, spiritual inclinations and lifestyle must all be in alignment.

Happy New Year, Pisces!
