I just returned from a trip to Cuba where I fell in love with the people, the live salsa music on every corner, and the revolution. There has been a shift in me – the kind that is felt when a sea of truth has consumed your entire being. I cannot unsee what I now see; I cannot unknow what I now know. I may not be too receptive for long, gaining wisdom and insights that can only be revealed once you have dared to step outside of your comfort zone. But an impact has been made. A coup of consciousness is currently underway.

It was not the country of Cuba that led to this coup. I was already on the precipice of something, unable to fully articulate it then, and similarly unable to fully articulate it now. For a while, I have been teetering on the brink of change – a leap of faith that would require the most courage that I have ever had to conjure. I can only, more fully stand in my power at this point, no longer dipping just a toe, or checking the temperature every now and again. I know for sure that as I stand in my power, the experience will continue to be unrelentingly transformative.
Do not worry, dear reader. You too have a part in this remarkable time of transition. My changing vibration can only hum with momentum when your vibration changes too. We are in this together – each one of us standing on the brink of change. Can you feel it? Can you feel the revolution within? Is your coup of consciousness currently underway too? If not, it will be soon, and you must be be ready and willing to transform. Only time will tell what unfolds – how we each chose to grow and evolve.
…and time will, indeed, tell all.
All we have is time. All we have is right now. All we have is each other. This year sees us more bold in doing what needs to be done, coming out on the other side of truth with only minor bruises and bumps, and thriving. At this juncture, we must put forth our greatest effort. Whether we commit to our health, or commit to a cause, our commitment is required. We are rebelling in both our personal lives, and against a dominant culture that oppresses societies. A mutiny of our collective soul is in effect. Welcome to 2018.
I dare you to evolve, my friend. I dare you to see what needs to change, and change it. I dare you to see who you are or need to become, and be it. I dare you to hear the wisdom of your inner voice, and adhere to it in your everyday life. I dare you to envision a world that is free, and embody it. I dare you to be open to what will be, and to let go of the past. I dare you to rebel. The universe is putting us on notice. It is time to wake up, my friend. A great coup of consciousness is currently underway.
