My life as it currently stands is akin to a blank canvass, on which I find myself in a unique position to paint whatever I wish. This is technically true for everyone in that we each have a choice to do what we will with the life we are given. It’s like the quote from the book “The Alchemist” that I am reminded of from time to time: “when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” This is an important truth that is often rejected due to skepticism, unfortunately. The idea that the powers that be would dare to bring us exactly what we want is just too good to be true.
