the planet farthest from the almighty Sun,
the slowest moving planet in our Solar System,
has officially stationed direct!
“Murica” (i.e., America) is about to face the second hit of its Pluto return (more on that here and here), and as the systems, institutions, and structures that govern our society continue to unravel, so, too, will certain aspects of our personal lives.
You see, Pluto’s job is to empower us by revealing to us the ways in which we are disempowered. Its decades-long influence has a gradual, yet transformative, effect.
Since 2008 when Pluto first entered the sign of Capricorn, you, dear reader, have been undergoing a cycle of “demolish and re-erect” in some area of life (depending on where Pluto has been transiting your astrological birth chart). You have been reborn from the ashes of all that has crashed and burned, able to reclaim an innate power that has helped you to grow and transition.
I’ve been writing about Pluto’s impact over the years, most notably in the annual horoscopes I publish. This planet has been a relentless foe and a determined ally in each of our lives, and come Spring of 2023, Pluto will leave the sign of Capricorn and head to new territory when it enters the sign of Aquarius on March 23, 2023 (more on that soon enough!)
For now, your focus should be on this current cycle of change and resurrecting before it concludes, and a new cycle begins next year. Your horoscopes for the week provide additional insights on just how much you’ve unlearned, relearned, and thus, evolved over the years. Be sure to read for your Ascendant/Rising sign, too.
