All Taboos On Deck

“Jupiter in Scorpio will drudge up the muck that resides beneath the surface of who we are, and in a big way. Skeletons in closets will be revealed. Lies will be unearthed. Wounds will be triggered. This is a necessary process that Scorpio does well. What follows will be a grand release that helps us to heal and evolve.” I wrote these words back in October of 2017, when Jupiter first entered the sign of Scorpio. Now I am curious to know…

What taboos are currently on deck?
Where have you had to go deep to excavate the toxins within? Maybe the muck I spoke of looks like poor relationship patterns, addictions, obsessive/compulsive behavior, psychological trauma, etc. Jupiter in Scorpio bestows us with blessings that have the capacity to transform. But only if we can release that which inhibits us from truly evolving.

Jupiter stationed retrograde last Thursday, March 8th, which means a review is currently in effect that will sharpen those lenses currently pointed at what resides beneath the surface unexamined. For Leo and Leo Rising, this could be family secrets or emotional crises that have been detrimental to your development as an adult. For Virgo and Virgo Rising, this could be a deepening of your mind as you rid yourself of false narratives that do not belong to you. For Pisces and Pisces Rising, this could be limiting beliefs that keep you from pursuing your biggest dreams imagined. For Aquarius and Aquarius Rising, this could be feelings of lack when it comes to cultivating purpose through your work and vocation.

This is not just impacting us personally, but on a national scale too. When Jupiter entered Scorpio last year, justice movements erupted almost immediately that centered on white supremacy (#Charlottesville), sexism (#MeToo), immigration reform (DACA), gun reform (#parkland17), etc. We have all been called on and called out to name what festers in this country, and in ourselves, for the sake of transformation. Everybody plays a role; our capacity to heal the world is based on our capacity to heal ourselves.

Remember, Jupiter bestows blessings. While its transit of Scorpio may at times feel invasive, intense, and uncomfortable, there is much to be gained, and much at stake should we continue to allow the disowned parts of ourselves – our fears, insecurities, etc. – be a hindrance to liberated growth. Jupiter’s retrograde phase will last through the summer, so we have a few months to dive deep and surrender all the things that keep us un-evolved. Let everything bubble to the surface. Do not be afraid to get to the crux of any longstanding conflict.

Good morning
I have gotten to the root of bitterness within my own dominion. Over the years people believe it has come from a bad break up w my daughter's father however the root of bitterness has come from my relationship with my mother. I discovered over the years, that it wasn't the opposite sex parent Ive dated in my partners, but my mother. Ive played the same script out over and over again. And having been met with this reality in my current situation has been absolutely uncomfortable. While I can see it for what it is, he doesn't. And yet Ill be moving on with a peace and a lightness Ive never felt. I will be moving on with a strong desire to reconcile w my mother without needing to "guard myself" from her. As an adult w this new understanding I can simply let go and let love have its way.

Wow! That is quite a breakthrough, and I want to lift up your courage for going deep and acknowledging unpleasant truths - that takes a lot of courage. Thank you for sharing our experience, and I wish you continued peace and light as you move on to reconcile in whatever way bring healing to you.
