A client of mine shared some sage advice she received from a friend: “You do not have to make a decision if it isn’t a “HELL YEAH!!” I could have hugged her in that moment. It was advice someone (i.e., me) needed to hear and I wanted to share it with you.
Our limited minds are incapable of fully comprehending all that is available to us in the form of abundance. Even the most evolved Soul (e.g., Buddhist monks!) are limited in their capacity to dream their biggest dreams.
We are humans, and thus limited by nature. But that doesn’t mean we can’t consider the fact that abundance in all forms is possible. What we enjoy now can always be enhanced. What’s doable now doesn’t have to be permanent. In other words, we don’t have to settle.
If what we aspire to in life doesn’t inspire a “HELL YEAH!” – a career, a relationship, an important decision – it is OK to simply pass, or build upon something until we feel it to be right. As another client asked, “Why be good when you can be great?”
In life, we are given opportunities to draw to us the best of what life has to offer. What’s more, we deserve the best of what life has to offer. Of course, while calling in the best, it will be important to manage expectations. But just remember to hold off for the “HELL YEAH!”
