Mars has officially entered the sign of Aries, which brings a pick me up! It’s been almost two years since the red warrior planet returned home to the sign it rules, and THIS fire sign is hype!
“Self-care” was the topic of discussion with many clients last week. In fact, it came up so much that I am concerned the significance of “self-care” may have become obsolete now that the concept is so trendy.
We have officially reached the end of the Zodiac calendar as we enter the season of Pisces. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, said to embody the traits of all the signs that precede it. This represents a time of transcendence, where we leave the physical (earth) plane behind and begin our ascension toward a more metaphysical (spiritual) plane.
Planets enter the cardinal sign of Libra this week (Mercury and Venus to start), which means anxiety influenced by a dominance of mutable energy above will now be substituted for assertive action. We can finally pick a direction, and do so with cardinal conviction.
This will be a week of disillusionment. The bubble will burst at some point over these next few days, as we reach the Pisces Full Moon on Saturday, September 14th.
After a months-long retrograde that led us to reconsider the viability of our biggest dreams and aspirations, Jupiter, the planet of luck and fortune, stations direct in the sign of Sagittarius restoring momentum.
Healing energy is on tap this week as the Sun begins its transit of Pisces on Monday, and the Virgo Full (Super) Moon peaks on Tuesday. Both signs are natural healers; Virgo offers tangible fixes while Pisces transcends toward spiritual wellness.
Action planet Mars stations direct in the sign of Capricorn today, and in the coming weeks, it will finish its transit of Aquarius. The pace of life will soon pick up; what's been suspended in air, or kept on pause, will soon see forward momentum.
But first, we must get our bearings.
A palpable shift will be felt this week as we end the season of Pisces, which had us all swimming in an emotional abyss, and enter the season of Aries.

Life is not always as it seems; this has been a recurring reminder for me over the past few weeks. With the Sun, and a stellium of planets transiting the elusive sign of Pisces (Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Chiron), it has been difficult – more challenging – to stay grounded in what is. A fog surrounds me. I wade through it sensing what is in front of me, that which I cannot see or touch. For the most part, I still have my bearings. But it only takes a feeling, an emotion, or an intuitive sentiment to throw me off. This, my friend, is Pisces season.
