Where to Land?

“The mountain veiled in the mist is not a hill; an oak tree in the rain is not a weeping willow.” ~Khalil Gibran

Life is not always as it seems; this has been a recurring reminder for me over the past few weeks. With the Sun, and a stellium of planets transiting the elusive sign of Pisces (Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Chiron), it has been difficult – more challenging – to stay grounded in what is. A fog surrounds me. I wade through it sensing what is in front of me, that which I cannot see or touch. For the most part, I still have my bearings. But it only takes a feeling, an emotion, or an intuitive sentiment to throw me off. This, my friend, is Pisces season.
That fog has become denser in just this last week. Rainy weather dominates the DC area. I wake up groggier than usual. Dreams have been weirder than usual. I seem to be floating with an anchor attached to me somewhere, and I do not have the navigational means to ground myself. If this is not Piscean energy at work, then I do not know what is. What I do know, is that despite my disorientation, I am trustful, faithful, prayerful, and hopeful that I will find my foundation.

The same is true for you, dear reader.

If you are feeling out of sorts, uncertain, or just flat out cranky, consider this part of a greater process unfolding - an integration of body and soul. As Rainer Maria Rilke once said, "live the questions for now." Do not jump to conclusions. Allow yourself to wonder. See those clouds as guideposts to what lies beyond in the answers. Let the gray shade you from despair, as the Sun makes its way out again. Sit in this, wherever you are, and believe it will pass.

A Full Moon in Virgo on Thursday will remind us of where we can find ourselves. That questionable link will be repaired, as we recover the nuts and bolts of life that keep our anchors secured.

Check your horoscopes to see what’s in store this week ahead, and don’t forget to read for your Ascendant sign too.
