Cancer is the sign of the nurturer. It encourages us to create a safe-haven, whether it be in our physical space, or with regards to our emotional health and well-being. Cancer wants us to mother those aspects of life that require tender, loving, care – from our individual fears, to our family, to those in need.
We can use this eclipse to feel our way through to a fresh start, nourishing our needs along the way, and showing great compassion. Venus’ entry into the sign of Virgo this week, meanwhile, ensures that we stay grounded in our approach, uprooting our foundations to plant new seeds. The purity that Venus in Virgo bestows requires that we be simple and practical.
Jupiter stations direct in the sign of Scorpio this week as well, causing an upsurge of energy that will encourage us to excavate the depths of our collective psyche. Think #TimesUp and #MeToo, two movements launched when Jupiter first entered Scorpio last fall. This is round-two of a weeding out process; lies and deception exposed will ensure that we release outdated ways of living and being. The solar eclipse can be a wonderful beacon of hope.
These next few weeks are potent, indeed. Be gentle. Be brave. Be open to change.
