Clients often ask during their readings whether or not the information I have shared could be interpreted as “good” or “bad.” My response is always that with Astrology, there is no good or bad; what makes something good or bad is how you respond. Astrology is a navigational tool that helps us to navigate life. It is not solely predictive, and no, I cannot tell you when you will meet your soul mate. But I can tell you when to avoid buying that new house, or if you will experience challenges in a relationship.

Over the years, I have had a handful of clients leave my office feeling disappointed with their readings, usually because they did not like what I had to say. While I do my best in each reading to thoroughly explain what Astrology is and is not, I am always surprised by such reactions because if anything, Astrology lets us know that we have a choice. The universe does not determine our fate – we do. Transiting planets may be affecting your life in a certain way, but with that comes an opportunity to learn, grow, and evolve. If I tell you that now is the best time to launch your own business, and you choose not to out of fear, you can’t blame your business' lack of success on me or the stars. Furthermore, there is no need to assume that your chance at launching a new business is entirely lost; the planets are always moving and shifting and shaping our lives. Dear friend, I don’t do what I do for entertainment. I do it for education. In fact, Astrology is one of many ways I choose to be of service.

So with that said, there will be a Solar Eclipse this Thursday, September 1st in the sign of Virgo, and if there ever was a time to piece elements of your life back together, this is it. Of course, there may be a few false starts; Mercury will turn retrograde the day before the eclipse, and through the month of September. But remember, these are just false starts. It is not the end of the world, and you should not worry yourself with fears of failure. The energy of this eclipse brings an opportunity to get things right; Virgo isn't anything if not precise.
