Now that Venus and Mercury have stationed direct after weeks retrograde, the pace of life will pick up immensely. And as I said in my IG post, this won’t feel assertive, initiating, or aggressive as much as this surge of energy will feel concentrated, focused, and disciplined.
A retrograde planet gives the illusion of orbiting the Sun backwards. When this happens, the things that planet is connecting to in Astrology become stressed. Venus in Astrology connects us to love, money, possessions and what we value, while Mercury connects us to the staples of our day-to-day – our gadgets, technology, infrastructure, communication, etc.
When these planets stationed retrograde on December 19th, 2021, and January 14th, 2022, respectively, we all became enmeshed in assessments of the people and things of value to us, simultaneously navigating delays and other misunderstandings around where such assessments would land.
For Aries and Aries rising, this may have brought a thorough evaluation of your career and legacy. For Cancer and Cancer rising, all one-on-one connections may have been up for review and consideration. For Libra and Libra rising, property matters, home, family, and other domestic activities featured.
When Venus stationed direct on January 29th, 2022, followed by Mercury direct on February 4th, 2022, most of us felt the shift. After weeks spinning counter-clockwise around the almighty Sun, which brought a rather groggy start to the new year, assessments can now be completed with Venus and Mercury moving forward – miscommunications, resolved.
These planets will continue to gain traction as they move through their shadow – that period of time it will take for Venus and Mercury to catch up to where they left off prior to stationing retrograde – and we will, indeed, notice a subtle momentum build.
Soon, it will be “go time.” Having redirected our energy where necessary, the Universe is giving us the green light. A prayer is about to be answered, dear Reader. Confidence is about to be restored. Life is about to become manageable again. The density afoot is about to lift.
