Looking Forward

2018 has been a year of trials and tribulations on a global scale, a national scale, and in our own personal lives. We have all endured challenges that felt more challenging than usual, difficulties that felt more difficult than usual, and frustrations that felt more frustrating than usual. However, even with the density of this year, we have become more resilient, we have cultivated a stronger will to overcome, and we have put forth the work that was necessary. Congrats, you made it!

As we close out the year, I cannot help but to reflect on the many ways we have each had to face adversity, putting aside our egos, pride, and even fears in order to effectively execute a task at hand. There have been obstacles indeed – from societal wounds that continued to plague and ail, to personal hurts that resurfaced for healing. Time has been our friend and enemy this year – we are truly acquainted. We are also more prepared for what’s in store in 2019 (more to come on that soon).
