Love and Healing After the Harvest Moon

“Grieve, Honey. Go ahead and grieve until you are good and done.” ~To a Client

The finale to this game changing eclipse season came in the form of a Lunar Eclipse last Friday on September 16th. The Full Harvest Moon Eclipse was in the sign of Pisces the Fish, encouraging us to gather our strength so that we might grieve and reclaim. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces marks the end of our human experience, and entry into the world of spirit. It is through Pisces that we embrace a soul deep love, and transcend; only then are we able to show one another empathy and compassion. Our ego self is denied as we give in to a higher power – a higher process. This full moon eclipse marked the beginning of a harvest of love.
The ability to evolve to such a heightened level of consciousness is why most Pisces struggle with boundaries. This sign understands that in order to reach that elevated state of loving and being, it must come undone without fight or resistance. Pisces can only just be in other words – no hard stops, no attempts to control, even if it brings suffering. Pisces is boundless. We learn from the sign of the Fish how to swim upstream or downstream depending on where the current takes us, and where that is doesn’t even matter; to Pisces, we’re all just stardust in a cosmic abyss anyway.

Many of us have been brought to our knees in surrender to a life of love, courtesy of this eclipse season. We’re all swimming to the source of our pain with an intention to heal, reaping what has come to pass, beginning a harvest of love. The asteroid Chiron was in close orbit to the harvest moon; Chiron in Astrology shows us where it hurts. As with all full moons, a cycle of our lives will soon reach completion. This lunar event has the capacity to apply a universal balm to all wounds.

Where do you hurt? When fear shows up in your life, what does it look like? What excuse(s) do you use to avoid kissing fears’ bare and vulnerable bones?

Emotions may run high this week, but ultimately this is a time to rejoice. Love will be our reward for a fear that is befriended, or a pain that is soothed. Life is not perfect – Pisces knows this to be true. When we accept that which we cannot change, only then will we know what matters most. Trust in what will be is the best remedy for uncertainty. That is when healing can begin. Our higher aim is in the harvest of love.

Check your horoscopes to see what’s in store for the week ahead, and don’t forget to read for your Ascendant sign too.
