Today marks the halfway point of the year 2020, and with so much that has happened in a very short amount of time, I don’t doubt that change is afoot in your psyches.
This year has been traumatic in many ways – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. No one has been exempted from the energy of the times, and no one will come out the other side of this “normal.”
So how will you come out the other side? Normal is no more, and quite frankly, it never served us well. An ominous wave of change is upon us. I encourage you to surrender to it.
Breakthroughs are coming. But the unevolved elements of our lives – this country, our biases, our oppressive tactics, our culture, our racist illnesses – must first be struck down. The dismantling of it all has been in rapid effect since January, and it will amplify as we enter the summer’s eclipse season.
Three eclipses will peak over the course of just one month, starting with a lunar eclipse on Friday, June 5th. In the sign of Sagittarius, certain ideals are set to be challenged and debunked, like the notion of colorblindness in a racist society for example.
What follows will be a luminous solar eclipse set to peak on the first day of summer. This beauty will shine a light in the sign of Cancer, the Matriarch. Emotional nurturing and healing will ensure a return to all that is femininely divine and sacred.
The last eclipse peaks on July 5th in the sign of Capricorn. This will be the final nail in the coffin of patriarchy and systemic injustice. As we ground ourselves in the reality of what is, and allow ourselves the time to heal, real and lasting change can then begin.
This is the trio of energy at work as Venus retrograde ensures that we more seriously consider our values as a collective. But it will take another six months – to the end of 2020 – before we see even the slightest hint of tangible effects.
