Every spring begins a series of planet retrogrades in the heavens above, and this spring is no different. Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter have begun their backspin around the almighty Sun, while Venus, and soon Mercury, follow suit.
Last week, a friend and I met up for a virtual happy hour and spent most of our Zoom meeting talking about all the things we had planned, pre-pandemic. Of course, with everything on hold now, all we could do was throw our hands up and say, “we’ll see.”
“Hard times require furious dancing,” wrote Alice Walker, and it seems we have entered into some pretty hard times. Shall we dance?
A friend asked if I would vote my conscience in the democratic primaries, or if I would vote for the candidate who could defeat Donald Trump. I responded that I would vote my conscience. There is a lot at stake, and it has little to do with #45.
This week begins with the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto and a solar eclipse on Thursday all transiting the sign of Capricorn. The element of Earth dominates – a time for “steady” in every aspect of life.
2020 is set to be a tumultuous year, cosmically speaking, in which ALL the planets in our solar system will retrograde at certain points. Expect to be pushed and pulled and tested in the name of growth and better living.
On Tuesday, December 3, Jupiter will exit the sign of Sagittarius and ingress the sign of Capricorn.
Just in time for Sagittarius season, Mercury stations direct this Thursday. Finally, a dense fog will soon lift. We can expect more radical honesty and liberating truth-telling to fill our days in the weeks to come.
Astrology sessions last week reminded me that the Saturn/Pluto conjunction was approaching, exact on January 12, 2020. I shuffled my deck to see what messages these planets would reveal to us earthlings below; the cards I pulled were Five of Crystals (Negativity) and Sage of Wands (Seer).
Mercury, now in the sign of Scorpio, stations retrograde next month, which means this is the month to confirm agreements and solidify plans, or plan to wait.
